A Swiss professor writes about his university experience, where he taught: \u201cSome time ago, a student handed me his dissertation, which was the culmination of four years of study for him. I read it and was excited. It reflected deep knowledge. It was written in a brilliant way. From a certain point of view, one could say that it is a great work.<\/h2>\n

But I wanted to – unwillingly have to write under the work “inadequate” with a red pen. The horrified student asked me, ‘Professor, why did you do that? Where did I make a mistake? ” Your work is truly unique ” I told him. ‘It shows a piece of honest work. You’ve put a lot of effort into it. You make logical arguments, but … \u2018- and then I had to tell him such a painful fact for him – ‘you have not at all worked on the topic that was addressed to you. You haven’t even touched her. You wrote about something completely different. You didn’t do your job at all, so I had to give you inadequate. \u201d<\/h2>\n

What a tragedy of life it would have been if Jesus had to tell us once again, \u201cFriend, you have not mastered the subject of your life. Though your life was characterized by great endeavor, you gained rank, popularity, acquired possessions, but missed the real theme of your life \u201d. This would be a much greater tragedy than the above-mentioned student because we couldn’t rework our life work, we wouldn’t have time to do it anymore.<\/h2>\n

So what is the theme of our life? The main thing is not how much we do, earn, save, but whether we like others. Not to think selfishly but also to others, to indulge them. In one word – the existence, that is to be for others, as we see in Jesus, who dies on the cross for us. He does this for us and to celebrate his heavenly Father. Similarly, all of our work is to celebrate the Lord God.<\/h2>\n

We, too, will lie in the ark once, and once again we will give our dissertation to God. Only if we live for others and glorify God in our lives, do we not have to worry that Jesus would write us “inadequate” under our lifelong work.<\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
