Jesus said to his disciples, \u201cThey will lay hands on you and persecute you, deliver you to synagogues, and imprison you, and will drag you before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. This will happen to you to bear witness. Therefore, remember not to think in advance how to defend yourself, for I will give you eloquence and wisdom that not all your opponents will be able to resist or contradict. You will also be betrayed by your parents, brothers, relatives, and friends, and some of you will be killed. Everyone will hate you for my name. But not a hair will be lost in your head. If you persevere, you will save your life. “<\/h2>\n

Jehovah’s Witnesses, from their founder Charles Taze Russell (1852 – 1916), the Christian Science sect founded by Mary Ann Morse Baker, the Federation of Families for World Peace, the Unification Church and others appear as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, the Yong Mung Moon sect (1920 – 2011), moons, and others also capture orthodox Christians. Like mushrooms after the rain, sects appear, various false prophets, teachings, and teachings, such as the “Grail Message,” “Family,” various charismatics and leaders, Scientologists, the “New Age Movement,” cults, occultism, magic, and various Eastern religions.\u00a0<\/h2>\n

After a long introduction, we realize the meaning of the words of the Lord Jesus: “Beware lest they deceive you” (Luke 21: 8). The proverb says, “Curiosity is the shortest way to hell.” There is truth hidden in it. Although the Lord Jesus does not explicitly speak the word “curiosity,” he points out heightened vigilance. “Many will come and say on my behalf, ‘It’s me and,’ The time is near. Do not follow them “(Luke 21: 8). Curiosity disrupts reason and free will, underestimates vigilance, evokes pleasure, longs for sensation, and when one is not careful, does not have enough vigilance, the necessary graces, commits sin. In the Book of Genesis, we hear about Eve’s curiosity. And then about the fall, even the fall of Adam. The construction of the tower in Babylon, King David’s son, and others are a memento for the individual and the whole nation. After falling into sin, man is prone to evil.<\/h2>\n

Jesus warns us not to be vigilant, not lie to false prophets, even though they will speak on his behalf. He who believes in the love of Christ, the power of his teaching, whoever acquires the truth of Jesus, feels in Jesus’ words: “Beware” and “Do not follow them” (Luke 21: 8), that God is the Lord of all things in the world. The future belongs to God. One day, everyone will see for themselves. We know quite a lot about witnesses today. For many of them have returned to Christ. Many had to overcome the finished hell on their return. Such brothers and sisters need more attention. On the contrary, not to despise them is to give them a helping hand with love, as Jesus did. Worse are cases of sects that we have not yet mapped. We do not know exactly about their content of teachings, practices, way of life, attitudes to things, events, and the like. Many of us know little about Freemasonry. What do we know about New Age?<\/h2>\n

Jesus’ warning words do not lose their temporality. On the contrary. Even unhealthy curiosity will do its thing. The end of the Church Year is a challenge for us not to remain silent as a wave of sects spreads around us. We need to know them and help others avoid their settlements or the lost and deceived return.\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
