Each of us lives somewhere. Each of us has, as one TV presenter says, in whose name I do not remember, my castle. In the Gospel, Jesus tells people about two men who built their house. One on the sand and the other on the rock (cf. Math 7: 24-27).<\/h2>\n
We might ask, \u201cWhy does Jesus mention this because he was neither a builder nor even a builder? An architect who would like to teach people about building a home. \u201d And really this question is justified, well they are wrong in something. Although Jesus did not perform any of these vocations, he was about building for the people a lot to say. Jesus does not want to mix with the mason in the craft but wants two examples of houses to show man how he should and should not build his spiritual life.<\/h2>\n
He points out that he who carries out his words is a wise builder and builds his own house on a rock and with proper foundations. But he that hearth, and doth not, is foolish; because, like the house on the sand, the very listening to the word, without carrying it, brings only an apparent benefit that comes to fruition when it is to prove itself. However, to the listener, whoever has heard and done, the words of the Lord will become strength and blessing.<\/h2>\n
The actual implementation of words must become an internal order that will stand up to us in the trial, even in the heaviest storms and floods of hardships and temptations. Well, to keep these words they can do, we need to know them well. No man can do what he does not know. A factory worker cannot make a television unless a scientist makes his exact one plan. When the worker then adheres to this plan, he creates a working television set. Well, as long as the scientist will make a plan and the worker will not know it, but he will still try the components to create something, it will certainly create, but at most a bunch of components that we could call at best modern art, but by no means a television. It’s not sometimes either with us as with that worker.<\/h2>\n
God gave us instructions through his son on how to build a house on the rock, but we say in our pride that we don’t need him, that we can do it without him. And so it often happens to us that when we look into the past, we see only a bunch of ruins, and it only takes a little to build a castle-like spiritual life that will last the greatest siege of Satan’s enemy. Let us read, brothers and sisters, the Scriptures, as the perfect plan of our lives, to know him well. After all, this plan was not created for us by some scientist or philosopher, but by someone who knows us and knows what is best for our lives – our good God.<\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
