What a joy it must have been when this young priest was invited to give a meditation in the center of Opus Dei, where the founder lived and worked. The theme was &#8220;humility.&#8221; Like all members, Opus Dei priests are encouraged to do their work with the utmost professional perfection because they sacrifice it to God. The preacher should prepare sermons with due diligence, examining what the saints have said on the subject. A member of any ecclesiastical institution will also consult on the founder of his institution&#8217;s important works. There is no problem in that, as Monsignor Escriv\u00e1 wrote a great deal of material on humility, so we can be sure that our young priest prepared very well for the conversation about humility. There is no doubt that before the immensity of this subject, he even felt humble and portrayed it in life-size in his mind and his sermon in the dimly lit chapel. At one point in his meditation, he exclaimed with great conviction, &#8220;The spiritual foundation of Opus Dei is humility.&#8221;<br \/>Into this small pause, however, a firm and fatherly voice suddenly came, &#8220;No, it is not!&#8221; St. Josemar\u00eda emerged from the darkness, walking decisively to the place where the young man was preaching. The old saint addressed the young man as &#8220;my son.&#8221; and instructed him to let him go. However, we must be careful not to misunderstand this moment. Sv. Josemar\u00eda paid great attention to consideration. He was not a man to interrupt others to correct them whenever they said something inaccurate. But he also didn&#8217;t consider it rude to shout &#8220;Burn!&#8221; When a fire broke out. Distorting the spirit of Opus Dei &#8211; albeit out of youthful recklessness &#8211; was just such a moment. Expectations &#8211; he revealed the real basis of Opus Dei. (Gal 4: 6-7 )<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage to fear again, but ye have received the spirit of adoptive sonship, in which we cry, Abba, Father.&#8221; 16 The Spirit itself, together with our spirit, testifies that we are children of God. 17 But if we are children, we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ; (Rom 8: 15-17 )<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Behold, how great a love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we are called the children of God, and we also are. (1 John 3: 1) &#8220;<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. (Math. 5: 44-45 ) &#8220;<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the words of the Church, &#8220;Baptism not only cleanses all sins but also makes the newly baptized a&#8221; new creation &#8220;(2 Cor 5:17), the adoptive son of God who has become partakers of God&#8217;s nature, Christ&#8217;s condemnation, Christ&#8217;s co-heir and the temple of the Holy Spirit.<br \/>&#8220;Jesus, the new Adam, begins his new birth of adoptive children in the Holy Spirit through faith with his virgin conception.&#8221; (CCC 505)<br \/>&#8220;We can worship the Father because he gave us to be born again to his life by adopting us as his children in his only Son: by baptism, he incorporates us into the body of his Christ (the Anointed One) and by anointing his Spirit, which is pouring from Head to Head. , also makes us &#8220;anointed&#8221;: &#8220;God, who predestined us for adoption, made us like Christ&#8217;s glorified body. Since you have become partakers of Christ, you are rightly called &#8220;anointed.&#8221; &#8220;A new man, born again and returned to his God by his grace, will say in the first place: Father, for he has already become a son. &#8220;<br \/>&lt;WHAT IS SINCERITY ABOUT? &gt; What is &#8220;being the son of the Father&#8221;? Sonship is a RELATIONSHIP with the PERSON OF GOD!<br \/>&#8220;4 Remain in me, and I in you. As a branch cannot bear fruit of itself if it does not remain in the vineyard, neither can you if it does not remain in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. He that abide in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 And if any man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; Then they collect them, throw them into the fire and burn them. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be fulfilled for you. 8 My Father is glorified in that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. 9 As the Father loves me, so I love you.
