Sermon<\/h2>\n

Everyone wants to save\u00a0 themselves in\u00a0 a difficult situation. Man escapes from\u00a0 a place\u00a0 of\u00a0 disaster in a fire, flood, earthquakes. But even in flight, one\u00a0 can\u00a0 be mistaken, take\u00a0 the\u00a0 backpack instead of parachute. People\u00a0 usually\u00a0 save\u00a0 themselves\u00a0 only\u00a0 when\u00a0 unhappiness\u00a0 comes. Jesus instructed\u00a0 his\u00a0 contemporaries citing\u00a0 the\u00a0 story\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 Flood\u00a0 of the\u00a0 World. But really vigilant\u00a0 doesn\u2019t mean\u00a0 we\u2019re\u00a0 insured in the\u00a0 best insurance\u00a0 company. Watching means\u00a0 \u00a0being\u00a0 ready\u00a0 for a\u00a0 meeting. Watching\u00a0 does not\u00a0 mean\u00a0 to\u00a0 expect it to be accurate. For the Lord whom we\u00a0 expect,\u00a0 who is\u00a0 coming, is still\u00a0 here.. Or\u00a0 else\u00a0 it is\u00a0 always\u00a0 coming for\u00a0 the\u00a0 one\u00a0 who is willing\u00a0 to receive\u00a0 it. This is the\u00a0 deep meaning\u00a0 of Advent.\u00a0 It reminds the\u00a0 believer\u00a0 on this, that Jesus stands\u00a0 in the\u00a0 middle of\u00a0 our\u00a0 lives of\u00a0 work\u00a0 and\u00a0 effort. Who did\u00a0 not\u00a0 learn to meet Christ, who\u00a0 was\u00a0 not\u00a0 merciful\u00a0 to him, for\u00a0 he always\u00a0 comes as\u00a0 a thirsty, notorious,\u00a0 misunderstood, for\u00a0 this the\u00a0 first\u00a0 encounter\u00a0 with\u00a0 Christ will\u00a0 be\u00a0 the\u00a0 last. The\u00a0 meaning\u00a0 of Advent\u00a0 is\u00a0 actuall to be\u00a0 a human, learned\u00a0 to\u00a0 meet\u00a0 in time and\u00a0 thus\u00a0 achieved\u00a0 a lasting encounter\u00a0 with\u00a0 Christ\u00a0 in eternity.\u00a0 Advent is a call to\u00a0 vigilance.\u00a0 No sleep, open\u00a0 your\u00a0 eyes.
