{"id":6205,"date":"2023-06-25T14:00:44","date_gmt":"2023-06-25T12:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/predication.net\/?p=6205"},"modified":"2023-06-25T14:00:46","modified_gmt":"2023-06-25T12:00:46","slug":"wide-or-narrow-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/predication.net\/?p=6205","title":{"rendered":"Wide or narrow road?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span><span lang=\"en\">We are all faced with a decision in life. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Narrow gate or wide road.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">One of these two paths can be chosen.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">We have a choice\u2014the narrow path with the Lord Jesus, or the broad path of the world.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">Most people would prefer there to be a third way between faith and unbelief\u2014a mixed zone.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">According to the words of the Lord Jesus, however, there is no such third way.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">I either stand in faith or I don&#8217;t.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">I am either saved or lost.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span lang=\"en\">Now we can think, &#8220;Am I standing on a wide or narrow road?&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">When I go only with the flow of the Internet, fashion, and television, I live on my terms, just for fun and only for my happiness &#8211; then I stand on a wide path. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The Broad Way is the path of a person who does not have close fellowship with the Lord Jesus\u2014and most people walk it.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">The narrow road is arduous and it is not worn today.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">Many quickly give up to make some exertion.- Should I get up and go to church on Sunday morning? think about my future? read the Bible?, forgive?, help? <\/span><span lang=\"en\">-All this takes effort and time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span lang=\"en\">It is also difficult to answer the questions: what is good and what is not, who is a Christian and who is a fascist, what is character and what is not, what is life, love and what is death, who is God and what is an idol.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">Yes, even if we tell others about faith, even that will be difficult.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">If we invite them into communion with the Lord Jesus and set an example of Christian character for them, this will also be our narrow path.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span lang=\"en\">When you have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are given new strength to go further toward the goal described above both gates.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">On the wide is the inscription &#8211; the goal is death.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">This is not noticed by many.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">They&#8217;re just interested in who everyone is already going through that gate and how fun it is.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">Above that tight gate is an inscription &#8211; the goal is life.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">But, as the Lord Jesus says, few notice. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Therefore, let us rather choose the narrow gate, the narrow road!\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">Difficult, but leading to eternal life.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">Let us accept the Lord Jesus as a guide to our lives, so that we may walk the joyfully narrow path together to eternal life!<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are all faced with a decision in life.
