{"id":1173,"date":"2020-03-20T11:19:33","date_gmt":"2020-03-20T10:19:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/predication.net\/?p=1173"},"modified":"2020-09-03T17:50:45","modified_gmt":"2020-09-03T15:50:45","slug":"perfect-happines-and-salvation-of-the-soul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/predication.net\/?p=1173","title":{"rendered":"Perfect happines and salvation of the soul."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u00a0Philosophical schools are predominantly daemonic, seeing happiness as the goal of life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However, they differ from each other in the way they seek happiness and in the way they want to achieve it. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Even Christians agree that perfection leads to happiness, peace, contentment not only for eternity, but partly also here on earth. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The gospel promises a joy that the eye has not seen or heard (1 Cor. 2: 9). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The first Christian authors like to point out that only God can completely liberate us from all that ancient man was so afraid of: death, loneliness, unfortunate destiny, evil beings and all evil. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">For he is the only good one (Mt 19:17) and loves people. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u00abYou have created us for yourself,\u00bb writes <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Augustine, &#8220;And our heart is dissatisfied until it rests in you.&#8221; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However, the usual expression of Scripture is not &#8220;happiness,&#8221; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">but rather &#8220;salvation.&#8221; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Already in the Old Testament it is often promised that God will come and \u201csave the people\u201d (cf. Isa. 43: 3; Z 26: 1). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The New Testament revealed the grace of our Savior (Titus 2: 11). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There is no salvation in anyone else (Acts 4: 11-12). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">What is the difference between happiness and salvation? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Happiness is expressed earlier psychological state that someone feels good. The Greek term for salvation of soteria originally means health, physical integrity, mental balance. We express rather the ontological state, the real fate is not yet completely felt. If we are in the grace of God, we are already saved. For what will it profit a man, if the whole world also gain, and harm his soul ?!
