{"id":1197,"date":"2020-03-25T08:52:49","date_gmt":"2020-03-25T07:52:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/predication.net\/?p=1197"},"modified":"2020-09-03T17:45:35","modified_gmt":"2020-09-03T15:45:35","slug":"fifth-lent-sunday-a-joh-111-45","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/predication.net\/?p=1197","title":{"rendered":"Fifth Lent Sunday A Joh 11,1-45"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"div-main-outer\">\n<div id=\"div-main\">\n<div id=\"header\">\n<div id=\"menu-main-outer\">\n<div id=\"menu-main\">\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 32px;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Fifth Lent Sunday 2020<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"div-id-left\">\n<div class=\"div-main-section\">\n<div class=\"div-kazne-den\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"module-outer module-text\">\n<div class=\"module-text\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<h2><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Jesus Has Power Over Death (Jn 11: 1-45)<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"module-text-content\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Introduction <\/span><\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">What is the strength of the proper survival of Lent? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The real experience of fasting gives hope to eternal life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This is because of the fasting period, when we commemorate the suffering and death of Christ, culminates in the Easter Allele. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Jesus said to Martha, Sister Lazarus, <\/span><\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cI am the resurrection and the life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He who believes in me will live even if he dies. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And no one who lives and believes in me will die forever \u201d(Jn 11: 25-26).<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The behavior of Martha and Mary, the sisters of Lazarus after his death to Jesus, is different. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Mary, whom Jesus once said, &#8220;she chose a better portion that we will not take away from her&#8221; (Luke 10:42), is peaceful. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">She welcomed those who had come to show their sorrow at the death of Brother Lazarus. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">When she met Jesus, &#8220;she fell at his feet and said to him,&#8221; Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died &#8220;(John 11:32). She added, &#8220;But even now I know whatever you ask God, God will give it to you&#8221; (John 11:22). Nothing different to look at, and yet. Martha does not believe that Jesus has the power to resurrect her He does not believe that Jesus is God, although Jesus said to her, &#8220;Your brother will rise from the dead&#8221; (Jon 11:23). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Nothing will change the word to acknowledge Jesus as Messiah when he says, &#8220;I know that he will rise on the last day of the resurrection&#8221; (John 11:24). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Then Jesus spoke the words that until the end of time for those who believe in his divinity are hope, certainty, and guarantee even in the most difficult days, hours of life when death comes: \u201cI am the resurrection and life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He who believes in me will live even if he dies. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And no one who lives and believes in me will die forever \u201d(John 11: 25-26). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hours of Life When Death Comes: \u201cI am the resurrection and life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He who believes in me will live even if he dies. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And no one who lives and believes in me will die forever \u201d(John 11: 25-26). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hours of Life When Death Comes: \u201cI am the resurrection and life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He who believes in me will live even if he dies. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And no one who lives and believes in me will die forever \u201d(John 11: 25-26).<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In these words, Mary issued her confession of faith. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This is because she chose a better share that is not taken away from her. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Previously, she listened and considered Jesus&#8217; words, but accepted them as her own. <\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Martha believes in the resurrection at the end of time, but Jesus not only resurrects all those who have died, but Jesus has the power to resurrect in conversation with Martha. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Being a God can not only command the &#8220;roll the stone&#8221;, it could be a curiosity that Martha had assumed when he says, &#8220;Lord, it stinks, he was in the grave for four days&#8221; (John 11,39) But Jesus gives the command that only God can give: &#8220;Lazarus, come out&#8221; (John 11:43)!<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Lazarus resurrection is the last and greatest sign that Jesus made in his public performance. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He only knows what awaits him in Jerusalem, although he has predicted it several times. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Words: \u201cI am the resurrection and the life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He who believes in me will live even if he dies. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And no one who lives and believes in me will die forever \u201d(John 11: 25-26), addressing every person to the end of time. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Jesus confirmed these words in Jerusalem, where he continued after leaving Bethany. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Thus, resurrection and life are not, as the Pharisees and Martha believed, and distant hope, but a certainty which Jesus persuaded the Samaritan woman at the well, and the blind man from birth, whose mud he painted his eyes and commanded to wash them in The Siloed Pond.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">With his word, actions and signs, Jesus perform His power and that He is the Son of God, the true God, that He alone has the power to judge the living and the dead. <\/span><\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We are not only aware of \u201cdeath and life\u201d in the fasting times. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Jesus did not remove death, but he himself experienced all her bitterness, becoming like us in dying to give us hope by his victory over death, by his resurrection.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Martha was unaware of Jesus&#8217; words he told the disciples when he announced that Lazarus was sick. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The words of Jesus: &#8220;This disease is not to death, but to the glory of God to glorify it with the Son of God&#8221; (John 11: 4), true because Jesus gives the assurance that no one can give anything That death life does not stop there. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But even today it is not enough to confess by mouth: I believe \u201cin the resurrection of the body and in eternal life\u201d, but in my life to show it.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The resurrection of Lazarus is not just a description of the event, facts, knowledge of something that was and should not affect the response of all people to the end of time. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Lazarus resurrection is a testimony of the power of Christ and a challenge to embrace him as his God, to build his life of faith. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The resurrection of Lazarus precedes the description of the martyrdom, death, and resurrection of Jesus. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">By resurrecting Lazarus, John does not want to give a description of one miracle of Jesus, although of his greatest activity, but most importantly, John represents Jesus as one who has power over death. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Jesus wants to give everyone eternal life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We should accept the friendship between Jesus and Lazarus as a challenge to every man that Jesus wants to be with us in his kingdom. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Even Lazarus had to die again B<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">ecause death is the gateway to a new life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Death thus becomes hope, where there will be no more sorrow, no pain, no parting. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The more responsible we are to approach our lives. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Lent time, which includes the sacrament of Atonement, is that culminate in the Easter Allele, which bears a sign of new and eternal life.<\/span><\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We do not think that the promise of Christ&#8217;s new life must survive only the grave of someone dear. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Lent time is a sufficient opportunity. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Surviving lent time responsibly to your soul is a guarantee of true Easter joy. <\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Faith in God Protects Everything That Is Against Life. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He who lives with God need not be afraid. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Christ is the God of the living, not the dead. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It is time that today we ask ourselves and others for the hope of eternal life, help in redressing and changing life, that we strengthen our faithfulness in fulfilling the will of God.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We ask everyone to know their mistakes, misconceptions, power to leave sin and embark on a journey that is the only guarantee. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It is time to have eyes, ears, hands, and hearts open to those who need our help from Christians to know that the blood of Christ cannot be shed in vain.<\/span><\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In the family of a successful entrepreneur, one daughter has everything. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">You used to have everything. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">I wanted and got clothes, jewelry, vacation, permission to go where she wanted and with whom she wanted. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We ask: Was she happy? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It was not. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Perhaps from those fifteen to twenty years during discos, private parties, fashion fads. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Then she started to notice her father&#8217;s rash, untied life, his frequent departments from the house, the solitude of her mother, who she started to notice more than she was crying in the corner of the living room. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Suddenly, she realized she had everything &#8211; and she had nothing.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And this girl only learned after twenties to recognize and see things worthwhile before God. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But she found true happiness within her, and although she does not have what she had with her father today, she has a beloved mother, husband, and child beside her. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And all thanks to Christ. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Many helped her know Christ and what is the priority of his teaching, to live with him here on earth and have hope in eternal life. <\/span><\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Lent peaks. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Whether the veiled cross does not remind us that we do not understand many things, at least not as we wish, the veiled cross reminds us that the death of Christ is a guarantee of our eternal life when we persevere with the Crucified.<\/span><\/span><br \/><br \/><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Although everyone is afraid of the death of the flesh and the soul only, we are aware of the meaning of Jesus&#8217;
