I want to address my priest brothers here because we priests often focus on only one of these four dimensions, rather than all of them.
Forgiveness: The first and most common dimension of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is forgiveness, which we know best. This is when Jesus tells us, “Let me forgive you.” We have already said enough about what we can take from the Sacrament of Reconciliation. But the most important thing is to distinguish between healthy and mentally ill sinners, and to recognize that when we go to the Sacrament of Atonement, we go there to be forgiven. Now I want to tell you something critical: “Please believe that when you go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, your sins are already forgiven.” Very often I hear questions like, “Did God really forgive me?” Please put it aside; God forgives you.
Healing: A person who comes to the Sacrament of Reconciliation is a wounded man who often cannot forgive sins and must pray for healing. He also suffers from the oppression of the devil, which means that the evil spirit attacks him in the weak area of his personality. We see this phenomenon in ourselves. When we go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we decide we will never commit a certain weakness again, but then we realize again that we are powerless. We often say we can walk in Jesus and avoid almost all sins, but we cannot overcome one sin. Perhaps the most beautiful moment of the sacrament of Atonement happens when the priest prays for our healing in this area. This process is especially effective when we go to the same priest who knows us and can help us discover the weaknesses the evil spirit oppresses.
Liberation: There is a third dimension when Jesus tells us, “Allow me to deliver you from all evil spirits,” who have been associated with occultism, spirituality, or Satanism, or have been in groups that we will talk about later, and often need to be free from the evil spirit in them as a result of the experience they have been involved in. To reject the evil spirit within themselves and invite Jesus into the area of their personality that the evil spirit had previously oppressed.
Strengthening: The fourth dimension looks into the future. The Lord says to man, “Let me strengthen you.” We ask the Holy Spirit to enter man’s weak areas and strengthen him for the future. In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we distinguish four dimensions. The Lord gradually tells man: Let me forgive you. Let me heal you – Let me liberate you—let me strengthen you. Reconciliation as a sacrament is a wonderful experience. It is a meeting with the Father who embraces us. We should view it as essential; if we are unhappy after confessing our sins, we have missed something, because meeting Jesus, who forgives us, brings great joy. This is always an experience we love; let us thank God for the sacrament he has given us. Unfortunately, many see the sacraments as a very difficult element of the Catholic religion, but the people who live the Catholic religion thank Jesus, whom they can meet.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation has four dimensions.
