They called them Jon\u00e1\u0161 today.In the Gospel the Pharisees and\u00a0 , low teachers asked Jesus\u00a0 for a sign.Jesus told them,this generation would receive no sign other than the sign of the prophet Jonah.He was in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights. The people of Nineveh\u00a0 turned to his sermon. They repented. Jesus was in the bowels of the earth for three days and three nights. He too,called people to repentance. Signs\u00a0 and miracles can inspire people. But enthusiasm is not the main\u00a0 goal. Enthusiasm quickly fades.The main goal is to change life. Jesus said that if you do not repent, you will all perish. What would have happened if the people of\u00a0 Nineveh had not repented.They would all perish. Three more days and Nineveh will destroyed. Jesus words must always be taken seriously.
