In the liturgical year, there are certain symbols that the church puts us in front of the spiritual sight in some days. In today’s day it’s a candle. <\/span>Maybe looking at the parade with the beauteous candles we begin to consider: “Why is it just a candle? <\/span>After all, it is so common in our lives! <\/span>It is used in homes, churches, restaurants, cemeteries… “<\/span>
On the right track, we will correct the old-age Simeon, which calls Christ the light to enlightenment the Gentiles and the glory of Israel, the Lord’s people.<\/span>
Surely we all can imagine what happens when the light goes out, which occurs in the Rush and chaos. <\/span>We are growing in the dark, we encounter various objects and sometimes I look desperately looking for a candle or flashlight. <\/span>Back then we realize that life is difficult without light.<\/span>
A similar situation was also before the advent of Christ. <\/span>Humanity, marked by sin, was in the darkness of death. <\/span>However, he knew that he was a savior, but he had no idea when he would be a joyful moment. <\/span>It has encountered various difficulties, problems and obstacles that have not proved to be addressed. <\/span>In the hardest moments, God was sending prophets to encourage people to strengthen their desire for the Messiah. <\/span>Simeon was very well aware of this condition and, therefore, when he held Jesus in his arms, he called him LIGHT because he had enlightened humanity and helped him in his advent. <\/span>The comparable situation also occurs in any person when his soul is marked with severe sin. <\/span>There is a dense darkness in it.<\/span>
In this condition it strikes the difficulties, the problems and has no courage to beg the father for forgiveness. <\/span>From this situation he is looking for a leak in alcohol, in drugs, in untied life, in committing other sins, only to give a way of silencing conscience, which is an exclamation point. <\/span>But success can only wait when the light-Jesus Christ is penlights him. <\/span>Surely we all know the moment when Jesus by the mouth of the priest refers to us: they forgive the sins! <\/span>Go and do not miss! <\/span>At that moment all of us fall off, and we have a taste to sing, dance and laugh. <\/span>You see what makes a clear conscience when the Christ enters our soul-the light of the world.<\/span>
We already understand why Simeon called Christ Light? <\/span>Because his coming to the world, into the soul, to life is a complete break and change, so it is now in our spotlight. <\/span>Let’s imagine it as it burns and shines. <\/span>It gives a warm, pleasant and warmth light. <\/span>It has an entire space and causes people near you to be loved and closer to each other. <\/span>This is a service candle, which itself burns and thus destroys. <\/span>Another is used and the service itself ceases.<\/span>
Being a candle is also our mission. <\/span>We have to be light that ignited Christ. <\/span>A candle that spreads around mercy and the willingness to help the neighbor. <\/span>We are also obliged to spread the warmth of love, even though we will burn ourselves and it will sometimes at the expense of our time, comfort and possibly health. <\/span>The old-age Simeon in US provokes questions: Am I light and fresh? <\/span>Do I burn to another service? <\/span>Can I spread my love and goodness in my area? <\/span>Don’t look at time and comfort when you need to help someone?<\/span>
On the slope of the day-round, a certain stranger was walking through the ancient city. <\/span>He admired his architecture and wondered about the skill and skill of builders. <\/span>Gradually, however, began the city to sit fog and all the beauty shrouded darkness. <\/span>Suddenly, as the magic of a miraculous wand was illuminated in the houses, the lights were lit and the soft rays were left to the outside of the street. <\/span>From home, the red, blue, and yellowish light, which created the nicest consistency. <\/span>Suddenly, everything was imperfect or dirty, all that had eroded the tooth of the time, ext inked and was radiated by a beautiful light. <\/span>The enthusiastic stranger added to this: “We, people, resemble the house. <\/span>For some we are beautiful, for other ugly. <\/span>But the most important is our shelter-the soul in which the light is to illuminate, so that everything is unsightly and intrusive. <\/span>The light is God. “<\/span>
Let the candle we hold today in the hands symbolize Christ, who only can bring light into our souls and ignite us, so that we may also be able to meet other people. <\/span>Let us in this desire help Mary, who is the only one fully understood, which means to be fully handed to God’s will, therefore, together:<\/span><\/h2>\n
