Bread

Please point out the need for the Eucharist for our souls.
Each of us will know the feeling of hunger. The feeling for which one performs removal most of its activities. One can live without a roof over one’s head, without any financial security, but without food – without everyday bread can survive the most twenty-five days, at least that’s what scientists say.
We heard about bread in the gospel. Jesus felt sorry for the crowd, and therefore: “He took seven bread and fish, giving thanks, breaking and giving to the disciples and the disciples of the crowd ”(Mathew 15:36).
As the grain of wheat grows in the earth, the bread and fishes are multiplied by God’s power until everyone was satisfied. Jesus does not perform this miracle for some tendentious reason, for example: that the multitudes stay even longer and listen to Him, but because he is sorry for the multitude, the people in this crowd had not eaten for three days. If he gave them money, no one would have had enough.

Nature went as far as it could; God arranged the rest. The effect of this miracle on the crowds was immense. No one could deny that Jesus had God’s power, he proved it by multiplying the loaves, and the people immediately wanted to elect him king. You know, just imagine if it would not be wonderful to live in a kingdom where the king would feed everyone, namely completely free? These people understood it, but it’s a pity that it’s only material. They found out that Jesus has God’s power, and he can give them bread. They glorified Him, but Jesus forsakes them because they longed for more body food, as in heaven.

Aren’t we like these people? We do not ask God many times for various unnecessary things, but we are not interested in the living bread that offers us, and only from time to time will we accept it so that we may have fulfilled what the Church shows us? Just imagine eating only from time to time, huh it would probably cause our body to leave on this earth and turn to dust. The soul, however, which we will never lose and only she will remain, let us be careful not to have her malnourished, or not to be in such a terrible state that it even rejects it, God, when we stand before him on the day of the Last Judgment. Therefore, let us try to listen more deeply to the words of Jesus whenever we hear them so that we may say, “Become Jesus, my king, but not because you give me this earthly bread, but because only you can give me the bread of life that I never have to feel hungry.
