Super scientific knowledge
Faith in God the Father is therefore an object of faith, not result of “scientific” research. This fact some mourning. According to the mentality of our time, we consider the real is what can be scientifically verified. Science has become queen in the field of human knowledge. Decides what has access to it and rejects what is not clear and obvious. According to Dostoevsky’s parable, a scientific man builds a crystal palace. As a building material, he uses only what is proven directly eye view or what is the logical conclusion of it considerations. Unclear things are ruled out to prevent them the dangers of “medieval darkness.” The palace proudly it rises to the top and there are many rooms reserved in it various fields of human knowledge. A person satisfied with his work goes to live there. At first, he is amazed by the brightness, but soon he gets bored because he finds neither freedom nor love there. These two things they will never be “scientifically clear” because they are personal. Therefore, living and specific people do not have to do this palace access. Dostoevsky adds another consideration: “Man underground “(thus the symbolic title of the book, which deals with these problems) is assured that for two or three centuries of science will progress so far that our whole the world will be as clear as “two and two is four.” One is amazed by this. But then he lowers his head and asks “And what else will I do in it?” With all due respect to science and admiration for its progress, we must be aware of its limits. Its area is the knowledge of “things”, but they escape the knowledge of “persons”. All the more so, science must capitulate to knowledge God, who is the Father, a living, free and loving person par excellence. We are facing the mystery of faith. The team its divine greatness is not diminished in any way. Trustworthy the experience of true faith in God is no less than scientific knowledge, on the other hand, is higher and more sublime. Collin, an English liberal thinker, met once a worker who went to church. He knew him, and that’s why you were he allowed himself to joke, “Is your God big or small?” “It’s so big it won’t fit in your head; but the other side is so small that it can reside in mine Collin admitted that many wanted to fight him atheism by apologetic and scientific evidence, but none of these considerations made such an impression on him as this confession of a simple worker.

Woe to you, Chorozain! Woe to you, Bethsaida!
Jesus began to reproach the cities in which he performed the most miracles, because they did not repent: “Woe to you, Chorozain! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tire and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in repentant clothing and ashes. Therefore, I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you ascend to heaven? You’re going to hell! For if the mighty works, which were done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. Therefore, I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of the children of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee
If miracles had happened in Tire and Sidon … they would have repented long ago. People often sigh: if I had conditions, if I had health, if I had time – then I would do something. And they lament: I had no chance of achieving this or that, I was not given a chance; please someone: at least give me a chance. And in general, they consider the blame for their life failures for the lack of chances, i.e. the lack of opportunities, the lack of opportunities, the lack of the economy, etc.
Let’s be clear: if the Lord God is really calling a person for a direction, for performing certain tasks – he will always give him opportunities for it. If one can say with one’s hand on one’s heart that one does not have these possibilities – it simply means that God is not calling them for those tasks. Of course, with a sensitive heart and a careful look, we see a lot of tasks around us that need to be done – but that doesn’t mean that they are all for us. But on the path of their vocation, everyone gets every chance; the unfortunate thing is that not everyone uses them properly. The Lord Jesus strongly condemns those cities that have missed their chance. That chance was his presence in Bethesda and Capernaum, which made it possible to hear the teachings of Christ and to see the miracles that had taken place there. It was a chance to receive the Gospel and convert. Unfortunately, a personal encounter with Christ, his rather long stay there, and extraordinary events have become a missed opportunity for the people there. Are we taking proper advantage of Christ’s presence in our midst: his presence through faith in our hearts?
Let’s ask: Who cares today about the salvation of their souls? Who is afraid of the judgment of the Lord Jesus today? We should realize and take this seriously traditionally that we must not be indifferent to what will happen after our death, that we must not be indifferent to how we use the gifts we receive from the Lord Jesus. We say that the Lord God is good. Yes, he still offers us his gifts today, but he is also waiting for our answer. However, this means that in humility and love we fulfill our obligations that he expects of us. Let us realize that God is omniscient and cannot bear only a kind of tinsel, superficiality. We must not waste in this way of life the graces offered and given. Otherwise, let us rightly expect a harsher punishment and Jesus: “Woe!”
We also see a lot of sin, evil, offense in our surroundings. Something is public, something is secret. He is in trouble and problems in our family like on a stormy sea. But where should ones be saved, if not in the family ?. Problems and difficulties breed sin again and again. How beautiful it is that there is at least someone in the family who will calm it down without big words.

Do not think that I have brought peace to the earth.
Jesus said to his apostles, “Do not think that I have brought peace to the earth. I did not bring peace, but a sword. I came to set a son against his father, a daughter against a mother, a bride against her mother-in-law. And their hosts will be enemies of man. He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. And he that love son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. He who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for me will find it. He who receives you receive me. And he that receives me receives him that sent me. He who accepts a prophet as a prophet will receive the reward of a prophet. He who accepts the righteous as the righteous will receive the reward of the righteous. And whosoever shall give one of these little ones a cup of cold water, even as a disciple, verily I say unto you, He shall not lose his reward.
When Jesus stopped teaching his twelve disciples, he left to teach and preach in their cities.
Jeroboam was the son and successor of the famous and wise King Solomon. As he prepared his throne, old and experienced counselors advised him with moderation, kindness, and promises. The young people, in turn, told him that they had to intimidate the people so that their subjects might fear him, and so they obeyed him. Jeroboam put the words of the young. He promised nothing, on the contrary, he asked and threatened. The harsh speech caused dissatisfaction and the disintegration of the kingdom.
Even when listening to the Lord Jesus, the question arises: Was the Master a psychologist who can and wants to gain listeners? Even with the promise of the Eucharist, many of his disciples said, “It is a hard saying! Who can hear this ?! ”(John 6:60). The words of the Gospel sound similar. These words may seem harsh and exaggerated to us.
Jesus says, “He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me” (Mt 10:37). To whom these demands seem exaggerated, he must realize that the Lord Jesus speaks over time and speaks of eternity. “.. , and he who loses his life for me will find it “(Mt 10:39). Eternity is infinite, so the requirements to achieve eternity must be demanding. Whoever wants to understand the words and requirements of Christ must ask for grace, for enlightenment.
“He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me” (Matt. 10:37). Will we understand the correct words of Christ today?
To better understand this, let’s explain it with an example from life:
In June, when beautiful roses bloom in the gardens, we remember St. Alloys. He was born to blossom the roses of power and fame, wealth and military success, happiness in conjugal love. However, Alloys chose modest violets of religious vows of purity, poverty and obedience in the Jesuit order. Gonzalo’s father did not even want to hear about his son’s decision. There was a sharp dispute between the father-commander, who was used to giving orders without distraction, and the son, who had Gonzalo’s blood flowing in his veins, who disliked to retreat. The father finally gave in and Alloys was accepted into the novitiate. He lived in separation from the world for six years. When the plague broke out, the young cleric volunteered to treat the sick. Soon, however, he fell ill himself. His young body struggled for life for three months. He eventually succumbed to the disease. Saint Alois dies as a 23-year-old boy. Here we can see the fulfillment of Jesus’ words: “He who loses his life for me will find it” (Mt 10:39).
The case of St. Alois is not unique. St. Stanislav Kostka and St. Alfonso had similar difficulties and the choice of love between their parents and Christ.
Even in our daily lives, we know of several cases of disagreement between parents and a son who wanted to be a priest, and parents wanted to have a doctor, an engineer. We know the contradictions in the family, where the daughter, despite the mockery of her siblings and the disapproval of her parents, despised the world and went to a convent to serve the suffering as a simple nun.
These poor in spirit have understood that whoever finds his life only here on earth will lose it. He will lose eternity. But he who loses his life for Christ on earth will find him in eternity. People often see the right life in the pursuit of happiness, in wealth and enjoyment, in work, in sins. Renunciation, service to others is considered a spoil of life, but according to Christ, only such will find their way to eternity.
The Lord Jesus tells us today that he who lives according to his teachings receives him. And he that receives Christ receives him that sent me, even God. Finally, we heard the value of rewards: “He who accepts a prophet as a prophet will receive a reward as a prophet. He who accepts the righteous as the righteous will receive the reward of the righteous. And whosoever shall drink for one of these little ones a cup of cold water, as a disciple, verily I say unto you, He shall not lose his reward ”(Matt. 10: 41-42). Threats, but they are the words of eternal life, and he who understands these words will find the way to salvation.
Therefore, let us love our father and mother, but even more love the heavenly Father, with whom we are to be forever. Let us love the beautiful gift of life, which is a preparation for life in God. We accept the teachings of Christ because we receive God that way.

15 Sunday A The parable of the sower
15 Sunday A 2020
Introduction
A large sailing ship called “Bad News” sailed along a sea route. Asked why the sailboat had this name, the captain replied: “I love sailboat competitions, and everyone knows that the bad news is the fastest news.” The Boulevard press also provides proof of this. The gossip, the suspicions, the corruptions are the news that spreads the fastest. The good news is being passed on very slowly.
Sermon
Two thousand years ago, Jesus proclaimed the Gospel—the good news that we can call God our Father, who loves us all. If Jesus had said gossip about the emperor, it would have spread rapidly. But he proclaimed the Word of God, and its spread depends on the free will of man. A gossip is easier to find a breeding ground. The Word of God, the good news, only arrives where one opens one’s faith.
Today Jesus tells the parable of the sower. He talks about four groups of people. Each group accepts the Word of God differently.
He compares the first group of listeners to a hard lowered ground on which the seeds fall, but they cannot penetrate the soil. These are the people who have heard many sermons, but none have changed their lives. They also do not expect anything from the sermons, but only deal with their concerns and their interests while listening.
The second group of listeners is superficial people. They are receptive and enthusiastic but without the necessary depth. They do not know themselves well, so they do not realize that many of their habits contradict their selfishness with the Word of God. They believe they are on the right track because they have been touched by the Word. The words went to their hearts, and it is enough for them to hear the sermon and believe they agree with it. But they are not trying to change their lives.
The third group of listeners is comparable to seeds that fell thorns. They work diligently, and they believe that their present lives fill them in such a way that they neglect without hesitation the pursuit of eternal life. They are haughty, and therefore they do not want to accept the Word of the Gospel. They always have an objection, an excuse, a reason to say “no.”
But what is the fourth group of listeners? It is the people who say, God, I am like stone-ground, but I do not want to stay like this. God, I am superficial, but I do not wish to remain shallow. God, I was haughty, I did not appreciate your Word, but I was wrong. So, if people act like that, they belong to the fourth group. In the fourth group of listeners are those people who recognize their mistakes and who want to change. Wouldn’t it be nice to be part of that group where the Word falls on good ground, as the Gospel has said!
At one point, a Belgian theologian complained: “How easily everyone remembers the film they last a saw, but what gospel they heard last Sunday would be forgotten immediately.”
How long do we carry a melody of a song in our hearts, and we sing and hum it again and again? And the Word of God? We hear it, and we forget it without it touching us. Our life’s responsibilities are obvious to us, but we do not allow the Word of God to move and shape us. A magnet can carry 14 times more; it weighs it itself. Accepting the Word of God in faith could also act as a magnet so that we bear thirty folds, sixty-fold, or a hundredfold fruit.
I would like to conclude with a brief history of contemplating today’s Gospel. A young bricklayer helped demolish a house. When the plaster was knocked down, instead of a brick, he found a large, walled-in book. It was the Bible. He was astonished and wondered how this book had come here. He wasn’t really interested in religious affairs, but he began to read in this Bible. Gradually, reading the Bible, he discovered that it seemed to him, some of God’s words were addressed directly to him. Two years later, his company sent him to Saudi Arabia. There he lived with other workers in a small room. One evening, a roommate watched him read a book. He asked, “What are you reading?” He replied, “The Bible.” The roommate said: “That’s all nonsense that’s inside. I must confess, I even once walled a Bible in a house because I was curious about the power of this walled Bible to get out of this wall again.” The young man said, “What would you say if I showed you this Bible?” And he gave his companion the Bible with the question: “Is this your Bible? I found her, and so she came back to you.” This short history shows that the Bible can be a gift for some who wants to accept it. For the other, it has so little meaning that he walls it in. Others question it and ridicule it. So the attitude to the Word of God is as different as the soils of the Gospel.
Holy Scripture can only be useful for us, just as it was then in the time of Jesus, if we read it in faith and thereby find solutions to a successful life here on earth, to obtain once the promised eternal bliss in the kingdom of God.

But be as perfect as you are perfect your heavenly Father (Matt. 5:4
But be as perfect as you are perfect, your heavenly Father (Matt. 5:4
To imitate God?
Plato established the principle of our moral life – to imitate God according to our means. Because God is the idea of supreme goodness and beauty, he is the ideal of perfection for man, especially in spiritual matters and in the effort to free oneself from bodily passions. Thus, the set ideal is sublime. But he can achieve it anyone living on earth? Plato believed this and claimed that we are an “image of God” naturally directed to your prototype. These are gorgeous words, though, in a particular life, we realize how immense distance separates creatures from their Creator. However, even the Holy Scriptures teach us that we are created “To the image of God and according to him about the form” (cf. Gn1,26-27). The Church Fathers turned their attention to the biblical expression “according to its form” to overcome the difficulty of immense distance. This suggests the idea that God would first create an image of His infinite perfection and then, later, man “according to” the original image. If we ask who is the original perfect form, the Scriptures correspond clearly: Christ, who “was like God in the way of being” (cf. Ephes 2: 6), “God’s image “(cf. 2 Cor 4: 4). And through Christ, God descends to earth, and so, imitating Christ, we can gradually improve his resemblance to the Father in heaven. Through Christ,e become sons, and son ship involves true kinship. After all, the face of the saints often radiated the glory of God, as the face of Moses became radiant when he descended from the holy mountain of Sinai after an interview with God (cf. Ex 34:29). King Boleslav of Poland (+ 1173) carried with him everywhere.A portrait of his Father made of gold. In moments no doubt how he should decide, he looked intently at this portrait and said, “I will never do anything would not be worth your name. “A Christian wears a portrait of his heavenly Father in all his person. His decisions must, therefore, correspond to this fact. Personal occupation In paradise, God called Adam, and he answered him. In the conversation, the first word belongs to the Lord, for by this word, the Lord gives existence to every creature. Man is called to be one way or another; he has his own, individual, occupation. God’s calling is very different from what we call vocations in a secular sense. The first difference concerns a certain moment in life. When it’s a young man who decides to choose a profession, his studies, his work is believed to have reached certain maturity that he exists, living in time. So first, there is in existence and only then the choice of its path—the divine vocation proceeds oppositely. God will predestine from eternity a man gives him work to do existence, time, and all necessary conditions to carry out a divine plan. However, the ability to realize to take this vocation and accept it comes in time, later, in a moment that God also foresaw. The second difference concerns natural suitability to the intended work. They are carried out in different countries’ psychological examinations to reveal what one’s job has gifts. It is supposed to be happy when he chooses an activity that he will perform easily and with gusto. God’s calling that we know from the Holy Scriptures, surprise with their opposite method. One hears God’s voice suddenly, against all expectations, the profession feels incapable of performing the work, to which they are called, stutter in surprise for example, the prophet Jeremiah: “The word of the LORD came to me:” Before I created you in the life of my mother, I knew you before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you But be perfect I have given you to the nations as a prophet. ‘Then I said, Alas, O Lord GOD! I know not how he spoke. I am a boy, ‘but the Lord said to me,’. Please don’t say: I’m a boy. Everywhere I send you, you go and all that I command you will say ‘” (Jer 1: 4-7).St. Ignatius has long tossed in uncertainty, carry out their profession in some form. He decided to go to Rome to seek help. When it’s approached the city, he got in the church in La Storta following confirmation from God – he seemed to see Christ with the cross on his shoulders and near him eternal A father who told him, “I want you to marry this one his servant. “So Jesus took him and said, “I want him to serve me.” And so the practical question is: Where and how do we hear God calling? Much of this question has been discussed in the specific case of the priesthood call or religious profession. Some authors have placed the main emphasis on the mediation of the church. He is therefore called God is one who is called by rightful church leaders to serve. On the contrary, Saint Thomas Aquinas prefers the inner vocation in the heart inspired by the Holy Spirit, which manifests a persistent desire to follow a particular spiritual path. It presupposes a sincere and constant prayer to be human enlightened. Indeed, both voices of God, both inner and external, must be aligned. Church service is concentrated primarily to help distinguish which the inner voice is truly divine and illusory. What is claimed about priestly and religious vocations applies to vary degrees for all of God’s calling?

Is money a blessing?
… or Why not be afraid of money..Let’s ask ourselves who the slave is. Let’s look at history, who was a slave? A man dependent on his master, without free will, in principle, such a man lacked freedom. What did granting freedom, release, or abolishing slavery mean? In the Roman Empire, it brought a disposition of power in the first place, freedom meant power that the slave absolutely could not have. The power to freely dispose of my life, the power at my own discretion to submit, to be obedient, the power to choose the environment in which I want to exist and the power to exploit all the possibilities that life brings. What about today’s? In today’s world, people say they are free, but they lack power. The power to submit to the attributes of life to your advantage. I have the power to choose Jesus and to choose for him freely. And so I will. Today, the world offers freedom of destruction and, very often, self-destruction: we choose and do things that ultimately harm us. That’s how the world dictates it. People have become slaves to their own jobs. I have nothing against the work, but the Word of God is clearly speaking out. Let’s open the Lv 23.26-32. Don’t work that day. In these few verses, the Lord explicitly says that he must not work. It’s good, right? The Lord wanted Jews to be clear that they were not slaves. Today, time tells us you have to try harder, you have to work, you’ve got to perform at work. If the Lord 5x stresses that you should be able to free yourself from work, that’s the point. Do you feel cut off from your community from your family? Read 30 verses, maybe he has an explanation for you.
Where’s your freedom? One of the manifestations of freedom we receive from God is the power to forgive each other. I have the freedom to forgive. Amazing. I can angle a broken road, I have the power to fix the broken, I have the power of forgiveness to accept. I can handle it freely. And so I do. That’s freedom. You’re free to do so, and so do you. Freedom does not manifest itself in the possibility of it being disposed of, but freedom exists when it is used. If you don’t follow her, you don’t have it. I know people waiting to act. They’re waiting for them to get green to enter the intersection. But they didn’t notice that the green was still there. You think freedom is in feelings or something? If you got it, you’re great, you’re one. But feelings come down to deed. And if you have them without doing anything, be careful because your feelings are most likely false and are based on nothing. Protect the feelings that emanate from the emptiness. So what is slavery?
When a man does not act according to his will, or when he acts the will which he has not accepted for his. He still has to think about what other people think to say what they want to hear. Maybe you’ve come to such an extreme that, to make you love God, you say what you think God wants to hear, you want to please him, and so you’re most insincere. You don’t go by your heart, you can’t admit it’s not 100 percent. Don’t you realize that God sees his last nooks and cranny? Keep asking, “Is this God’s will for me to be here? To do this?”” If so, believe in her, accept her as yours, act according to your heart, and you must not be afraid that God will not take care of your needs. Needs – i.e. including money. And that’s what I want to talk about.
God really blessed me in this regard. I’ve already taken a 1,000-year scholarship, very nice money for those times. When I followed school, it was just after the revolution, he wanted to go to England for an evangelical school, so I signed up, even though I required 1500£ he didn’t have tuition fees. I was eventually forgiven for a significant part, and the community helped me. I remember the fresh newlyweds, who would have all the reasons to keep the money, gave me 2000.-, the rosary community gave me all the valuty that had been collected into the church bell during the year, a substantial part of me came out of the Christian Youth Union, where I sent my request only. God wanted to step away from me, and He provided the rest. I can’t remember here how I had a bad conscience that others in school had to pay more, I thought, prayed for money and finally wrote to the Vatican. I wrote to the Prefect for the Evangelism of Nations on the plane that I am studying at an evangelism school, !!! I need money, and I have been told by Cardinal Tom that i can’t see it in #163 my life. But the money wasn’t just that.
In the 93rd minute, Theor. I got into the first job and I knew what an empty account is two weeks before the paycheck, which is to wonder if I can afford to buy a kilo of bananas, etc. I was distressed that I was earning little, and most importantly, I didn’t get the promised salary after three months of probation. I was very unhappy about it, sleeping badly, walking like a meme, living long into the night at work and often when I wanted something to happen, I slept on a sofa bed at work. In the morning, in a sweaty shirt, with circles under my eyes, I passed on the completed statistics, especially at the closing date of the month, and waited for a reward in the form of a higher salary, or at least recognition. I was eager to see that the charts were in front of my boss. I stopped going into the community, maintaining a relationship with a girl who was very exhausted and hurt. My prayer was the prayer of a weary desperate man who only hoped that God would see into his heart and not need his words. But I used to be in for cheap stuff with a friend from an old community, and although I’d already stopped going there, we kept up the “see you’ll see you at the weekend” relationship. We had conversations, sometimes long into the night; You know those conversations lying out of bed until i’m completely dead, the next morning I didn’t remember anything I said. I must say, however, that even though it was a very difficult time, god took care of what I needed, not once did I die of hunger and I still had a roof over my head.
Since I often saw my roommate Ivan reading Scripture, I remember that it was around that time when the Lord spoke to me through one quote: “The Lord loves a generous donor.” It seemed absurd to me that the Lord was telling me, with zero on the bill. One by one, however, I was very eager to make the Lord love me and to feel it. I knew that first, and experienced it in the early days of the He’s. But the emotions passed and I felt arid and ruined. I longed for love from the Lord. And he revealed it to me in a completely different way than I expected. He started taking care of my money. Before that, I got free to take the first step. I think the real ones who started to appear after that day. That’s when inflation rose dramatically, and I realized that I was still throwing my crown at the church bell, even though prices had risen several times. And, so I started giving more – 5, 10, 20 crowns, I had great reproach, if the church needed it at all, but I wanted to show God that I was generous and I didn’t care about the rest.
After a while, the director at the company sent me on a business trip abroad, and that was dieting, i.e. sticking. Then I was commissioned to draw up a security directive in cooperation with the Foreign Aviation Authority, and that meant another trip, and since the directive went well for the first time without any comments from abroad, the boss gave me a one-off reward and raised a bit of a salary in two to three months. But I still didn’t get what was originally promised to me, but I started to slowly understand something. At the time, UPC opened and contributors were looking for, so I took permanent orders from my so often empty account to pay 400-kora for students. My head shook when I realized how much it was and what I could buy for it. But it became an interesting thing that I never missed that money at the end of the month. I decided to return to service in the old community and when the “Fire” evangelism rally took place in Bratislava, I took responsibility for the interpreting service.
And then came one moment. I remember that since the pilot training was terribly expensive, I gave up hope that I would ever become a professional pilot. I haven’t flown for four years, I’ve had all my licenses and health checkups long ago. My brother stabs me sometimes if I don’t try again. But I didn’t believe it anymore, and I couldn’t put it where I’d take the money. It was enough that God knew. In fact, God saw the desire of my heart and saw that it fit into his plan, he saw that I had liberated myself from the slavery of money, that I could renounce them even though I myself felt their lack. And so one nice spring Sunday afternoon, I walked on foot from Karlovka to Storkto to my girl and i looked at the bright blue sky with the white ribbon of the jet, when in my head clearly the words i can hear in my ears: Glory, there are maybe a million pilots in the world. Why can’t you be one of them? It was a question rather than an order, but one I understood very clearly: it is God’s will to become a pilot. At that point, I came to believe that even though the whole world would stand up against me, I, with God on my side, could do it. I told the girl how I decided and how it happened, but that later led to our breakup because she felt offended that I didn’t include her in the decision-making. It hurt me a lot, but now I see when she’s happily married with one child, that it was good for both of us. And so the money for training sent me a real admirable message. At work, I learned to handle the graphics editor cleverly, and with the help of “power point” I created a project to finance my training, put it in a nice package, put on a suit, grab my hand and start going around businesses. In the meantime, I have come across strong opposition from my direct boss, who has since begun to get out of control, and he has therefore stood up against my unpaid leave of business. Finally, with pressure from colleagues who cheered me on and thus expressed their attitude to leadership, the company even provided me with an account to raise that $5000, which I, as a private person, had no chance of legally getting out of the bank. In the end, it was wrapped up as a training session paid by an employee with private money. I exceptionally received my ticket for free, so training in Dallas could begin. He was of high quality, but to my unpleasant surprise in the middle of the course, an air school accountant told me that my account was already missing money and they stopped guaranteeing me a pre-agreed amount. Later, I learned from other students that it was their usual practice of sourcing extra money from students. I knew if I came home in the middle of the course, no one would give me money at home, it would be my loss and I won’t finish school. I called a friend who had been in America for many years and she advised me to borrow money, but where and from whom? These were very difficult moments, I had to prepare for theoretical pilot exams while spending hours on my knees in prayer. That’s when I clearly understood what it was to have faith in God’s promise. I knew I still had God on my side and that it must be enough for me. And so I started making phone calls, writing faxes, doing black slates at the gas station in the evenings, my instructor offered to teach me for free. And two weeks later, I got a fax machine with very interesting content from a Slovak expatriate from Canada, who I asked for $1500. That he also started from the floor as a cleaner and orange cleaner, that his son also underwent pilot training, to which he had to earn himself and not give him a dollar, but that he sends me half of what I asked for. A burst of joy. It still wasn’t a full amount. A week later, I got a call from Angie, an American, a female friend from a student brigade in Turkey, and she lent me $2,000. I finished the training on the hair, and the Lord also took care of paying off the debts very interestingly: The day before the training was completed, I was hit at the intersection by a car, basically only a few abrasions, but painful of it brought $2500. Because my ticket dropped and I didn’t have a trip home, I sold an airline calculator and bought a plane ticket to New York. That’s where I was looking for work in 20°C frosts. A tile cladding, a waiter at a Chinese restaurant, where I was set off because i fell to the ground among the guests the contents of a tray with dirty plates and then from door to door, from the store to the store I was looking for work. Probably the hardest two weeks of my life. That’s when my unpaid time at home ran out and I got kicked out of Company. Although I had to move from one new York neighborhood to another, I had a place to live again, and the Lord took care of the food, as my new roommate, Italian Massimo, worked in a bakery and had bread abundantly. I was also invited a couple of times on some Sunday sat-in for lunch by an expatriate family, or someone paid me a coffee with a doughnut after church. I remember it was my birthday at the time, and I bought a cookie for one dollar, like a cake, he told a saleswoman what I was celebrating, and she became my only congratulavor that day. I’ve already worked in a Jewish shop, and after a couple of weeks, the owner entrusted me with all-day sales to bring her to the bank. I did my driver’s license and started to walk around New York shipping, which still brought some tip. I enjoyed every dollar as a little boy. I went to donate blood, as I used to in Slovakia, because it still sounded in my ears that the Lord loved a generous donor, and my blood was the only thing I could donate at the time. After three months, I was told by Air Ostrava from the Czech Ave that they needed pilots and i bought a plane ticket home that day. I flew out knowing that the Lord, in addition to the price of time and real friends, taught me the price of money. When I flew to Vienna, I had $5 in my pocket, which I still had to change for shillings because I needed change for the luggage trolley. So I’ve flown poor in terms of money, but with a pilot’s license in my hands. I did it!Finally, even though Air Ostrava gave me a pilot’s salary, which was incomparably higher than my original one in Tatra Air, so because of financial problems, i postponed retraining and worked then for three months on the equipment of passengers at Prague airport. I lived there a wonderful time, when my prayer became even more stabilized and when I returned to regular reading of the Word of God and also to sport, so even physically I felt good again after a long time. Three months later, I was told by the chief pilot of Tatra Air that they were looking for a man and a pilot I knew from the days when I worked there as an official, pushed me through the management of a company that still couldn’t forgive me for leaving the company. The Lord took care of myself so much that in the same company where I sometimes rubbed distress and enjoyed adversity, less than a year later I began to enjoy abundance. Pilot salary, subsistence, paid accommodation. I was looking forward to finally being able to start saving for an apartment. At the bank, I raised a permanent order for UPC to 600. I don’t know how much and to whom I donated all the money. The interesting fact was that I didn’t miss the money, I had more and more of it.
I was looking for opportunities to go abroad, and even in the autumn, 10 months before the bankruptcy of Tatra Air, I took the risky step. I travelled to the Swiss firm Crossair to ask on the spot. I went again with a vivid belief that the Lord is on my side. I came, no one expected me there, I didn’t have any interviews. They were so surprised that the chief pilot, even though he had a different program, spent half an hour talking to me. They didn’t have a plan to recruit second pilots from abroad, but he told me that things could change quickly. So I was leaving with a good feeling that nothing had been achieved, but a step had been made. It wasn’t until a year later that when I left that hastily banged-up interview (it was normally very hard to get to and waiting a long time for an invitation), so the chief pilot came to the secretary and asked her if she saw the pilot who came all the way from Bratislava and she said yes and he asked her to put my request on top of the pile.
My faith grew a lot during that period. I put himself back on duty in the management of the oase. The company got a lot of financial problems, we stopped flying and all of a sudden I had a huge amount of time off. I had time to prepare the community of animators for the summer oase, prayed the house for work and often begged for community prayer at St. Peter’s Cathedral. Martina. At the time, as of 30 June 2004, the commission had not been The company has resigned. July I had free on the oasis and on the third day of the oasis, when the program is celebrating Christmas, so I received a gift from the Lord. He called the chief pilot from Crossair to say they were definitely accepting me and with me other pilots, colleagues from Slovakia, who didn’t even have requests there. I was happy that the Lord blessed others through me.
I have been working in Switzerland for over a year today, I have 33 times my salary than the first one in Slovakia and my donations have increased many times. I live in a rented apartment, I don’t have my own, but I know that when the time comes, the Lord will take care of it.
ľ/ Free will. I’d like to get your attention here. I was talking at the beginning about slavery. Someone realizes their slavery to the lord of this world, and in the panic that snags him to the opposite extreme: he will become a slave to God. But God never wanted it! He never wanted you to become his slave. People without their own will (they say they may no longer have one, they just need to be god) move, live in our neighborhood and meet them every day. God doesn’t want you to lose your will. If you became unfree, you would no longer be what you were originally when God created man. He wants you to be free. He wants his children to become single people. If it wasn’t, God would do enough with the angels. Lack of free will causes a lack of joy. You feel like you’re missing ??? When I look at how the Church portrays some saints, I have a strange feeling. I see some of them here being threatened over what I’m saying right now. Listen, but. It’s like they don’t even have their will, they renounced it, they depersonalised. I don’t think God calls me for that kind of life. Those few saints – how difficult it is to understand their way of faith. Only a few people have been able to live like this, and they seem unsuampable to us. How difficult it is for normal, in ordinary life living people, to understand them. Then we feel how hard it is to catch these “patterns”, how hard it is to be a good Christian and wonder that we are exhausted and that our joy is gone. God doesn’t ask you to do this. I repeat it. This is not what God is asking you to do. He doesn’t want you to think that following him is toblame. Yes, it is the denial of his old self, but rather in walking with Jesus and not behind Jesus and with his tongue on his knees. Its burden is pleasant and certainly does not cause a warped expression on the face. If tired Christians are right, then damn it with such attraction! What do we offer the world when we’re unattractive? I believe that God offers us something that is possible for everyone, not just a few of us.
2/ Two coins. Look at the story of the houser (Mk 12.41-44), who threw her two last coins into the temple’s coffers. It’s about the ability to freely dispose of your money. You think if the douche was without freedom, she’d throw the money in there? You’d find 100 reasons not to throw them in there. Two coins, that is, the kvadrans, were ridiculous money at the time. Almost like nothing. Getting rid of them might sound like a simple thing. But she wanted to get rid of something she had reason to convulse because that was the last thing she had. How many of us, for your good conscience, empty the change from our wallet to the bell? This was her speech: God I believe you have the ability to give me as much as I really need. And what did God give her? A place in The Scriptures. At least. Very often we subject God to all the areas of our lives that we think are important, but we will keep those that we think are meaningless under our own control. We say, God take all this, but don’t reach out to me for this. It’s just two coins. (It’s just a negligible income, it’s just my phone, it’s just my hobby, it’s just such an innocent magazine…) So we want to downplay the things we want to justify before God. Ask God to show you the “two coins” of your life.
3/ Friendship money. Lk 16,9-15 Hey, can you hear that? Do you hear well with your ears??? To get into the eternal abode, you have to learn to use an unjust mother!!! Creating friendships with whom I want is one of the hallmarks of a free life. God says: Be good with money. Make them a friend. What does the 15th day of 2016? Verse? That God knows your heart in this case. He knows where you got it. If your heart is fine, you don’t have to worry about money. The world needs Christian entrepreneurs. In fact, it was the entrepreneurs that became one of the first whistleblowers of Christianity. Church communities in Asia Minor, e.g. Ephez, Laodicea, Smyrna and others were built on business trips and who do you think were their inhabitants? Traders. These centres of intellectual and business activity have almost become centres of Christian life. The rich trading centers of their time as Lyon, Marseilles, had as some of the first christian temples built on their territory. Priscila and Akvila made tents, leather items, saddles, belts and clothing components and sold them to the Romans. That also gave them the opportunity to give evidence. Very often they moved to the store, as normal businessmen do today. In Sk 18.2 we read that they were in Rome, then met Paul in Corinth and later moved to Ephesus. Let’s look at 2Sol 3,8-9. Mr. Paul was financially independent (understandably, apparently in addition to staying in prison) and gave himself a role model to others. After a wealthy Christian village, he even organized a fundraiser for the Church of Jerusalem, because Jerusalem Christians initially sold their possessions in euphoria, which later proved to be a noble and impressionable thing, but caused them to leave financially without their own income, resonant to others. Are you worried, as a businessman, that you won’t have anything to pay your taxes on? See in Scripture the story of the denar in the mouth of the fish. If you give God what is God, then God will make sure you have something to give to the emperor. There’s a lot to talk about on this subject, I recommend the book “The Power of Business for God’s Sake”, which translates and I hope it will appear early on our shelves.
4/ Investments. A few principles like giving money. You think there’s a financial crisis in heaven? Have you ever heard of heavenly kingdom actions going down? Or that the rating of eternal life would have a downward trend? Not? Then why are you still hesitating??? Invest in heaven! Start giving first and believe that God sees your needs. Collect treasures in heaven where… Who can finish this? God hates it when it gathers. When money is buried and not in circulation (see parable of talent). Do you remember the story of the rich man who built the mesal? Put your money in circulation! What am I putting my money into? You still have to be able to give yourself a clear answer to that question. Who will they serve my money to??? The Lord taught me the principles of donation and, above all, one principle. Not all those who ask for money need money, too. He taught me to listen to his voice while donating, and it happened multiple times that I donated money to a person who didn’t mention anything, but then confessed that she was in a major financial crisis and that my money was listening to her prayers. I understand that the Lord can give me a gift through me and that I can become a blessing to others. Invest your money in people who do something for God. Invest in your church = in your community, invest in those people who lead you to God. (When I was in Turkey, I met an American law student there, a strong believer, and I asked her why she didn’t want to evangelise 100%. She told me that she has the gift of being a good lawyer, she will earn good money and missionaries, since they can not live from the air, yet someone has to support…) I want to encourage you not to spare on the support of your community, you know well that, for example, you will be able to do so. Braňo works full-time for the Lord and does not have a permanent income. Give yourself the answer to the question: How much do you invest monthly in clothes, how much food and how much does your community cost you a month? How much of your salary? And how much do you get from him? If you give a lot, you can expect a lot. If you’re giving a little, expect a little. If you’re not giving anything – where did you take the rudeness of expecting something? And a very important principle: don’t put gifts under pressure and don’t give gifts that don’t bring you joy. But remember that joy always comes as an accompanying phenomenon of donation. Keep your joyful heart while donating. So it’s not like, “All right, here’s the money.”
5/ Grateful heart. A few principles on how to receive money. It’s sometimes harder than money to give. If the Lord gives you money (and not just money) through someone, then he will accept it with a grateful heart. I think our tradition is a little bit warped: we think that a person who has more money than we do is obliged to give us his own. I see a little bit of communism in it. When we get a donation, we don’t even thank the donor so often. We take it for granted. The gifted person probably thinks that he received the money directly from God and that the donor was “manipulated” by him, that he had only done his duty. He doesn’t realize that the donor had to give his free consent. Let us also try to understand correctly the quote “Seek the Kingdom of God first and….” That doesn’t mean we don’t ask for money. We don’t just seek out the money and build it as your primary concern.
During the evangelism school, we also learned money to beg. First of all, when you’re praying for money, pray for the donor before you get the money. Give him gratitude, whether it’s your brother in faith, or your boss or a completely unknown man. Secondly, be able to do so, that the donor is not obliged to give you money. He’s doing it as an act of free will. Thirdly, if the donor only donates one crown to you, write him a thank you letter, even if it costs you five crowns. This is a very important principle. Because it depends on you whether the donor will have a willingness to give again, so it depends on you the gift of who God wants to give after you. The donor is a human only, too. Fourth, let the donor know how you used his money and how you manage to “reproduce” it. I think if Cardinal Tomko and many other good-natured people were sitting here today, they would be happy with their gift. All of this is the consequence of walking in faith and believing the word of God to take care of your material.
The Lord loves a generous donor. Let me tell you something. I’m so loved. I BELIEVE IN IT. Based on one question back on a sunny Sunday, I understood what God’s will was with me, and I stepped up to her. I recognized the Voice of the Lord and went to see him. If you don’t know the answer to the question of what god’s will is in your life, it’s most likely because you don’t ask. But then you’re on the best path to becoming a slave to yourself and the pretenst you have about your life. If you don’t believe that Jesus can take care of your material needs, your money, then you’re their slave. You question that Jesus has prolifedied bread and fish for thousands. Don’t you think a little too much about yourself? You think you’re someone more than the 5,000 who listened to his word? You think he can’t do it for you? If you’re listening to his word, his voice, be sure he can do it. Before you answer the question of whether money is a blessing, say to yourself: Why, if God wants to bless you in all areas of your life (surely you’ve confessed it many times in prayer), should God deny you this blessing? True, if you don’t do it yourself, voluntarily for some good reason (life in a reholiso)
Be aware that you have two options. Become a slave to money, or their master. Either they will serve you or you will serve them. If we take down the money, then their lords will become pagans and we will become their servants. Are you really single in this area? God’s plan is for you to trust that he will take care of your financial needs, to take advantage of your financial opportunities and to become free to money. But watch out! Free does not mean to get rid of or forgo money! What would you say if God told you you were going to become a millionaire? I’m sure most Slovak Catholics would put on a pious mask and say: I don’t need it, I’m going to do it with the little thing I have, or that God doesn’t have to do it at all, that it doesn’t have to be. The mistake is that we’re too sure about what we have, even if it’s a little. And yet God wants to bless the world through you. And you say to him, Oh, God, I don’t want to be rich, that’s a sin. We all suffer from the guilt of owning money, we see them as evil. Yes, it’s bad if you’re addicted to them. We all think we’re not going to go to heaven with money, because it’s easier to walk through a camet with the eyeof a needle than a rich man to get into the Kingdom. Yes, but it’s just the rich guy who thinks he can take it richly with him to bribe you in heaven. Petra. If wealth lies in your open palm, then you don’t have to worry about anything. You know God gave it to you, and God can take it from you. We all think that when Job lost his fortune, it was a curse for him. Quite the contrary: it was a blessing. If God takes it, he’s just to use it. He’s just waiting for your open palm. The Blessed were never worth it: blessed the poor from property, but blessed by the poor with their hearts. If a young man in the gospel had a poor heart, I am convinced that God would not ask him to give up his property.
Before you give God permission to use you as a source of financial blessing, I would urge you to beg God for forgiveness if you had the wrong attitude to money. If you despised them when God offered them to you, when he gave them to you to bless you. Forgiveness for maybe still being their slave, that you’re envivable by envy of keeping your two coins to yourself. Forgiveness for that when you could use the finacies for your own good and the good of others, you rejected them out of false modesty. Express remorse for ingratitude if you took the gifts of others for granted. Thank God for your current financial situation. Open your heart and give him your financial needs. Be God today to bless your finances and make you an instrument of blessing for others. To believe in the gifts he has entrusted to you in this regard. To get a generous heart. Ask God for a generous heart. Accept the position of a free man and confess him as the Lord of his finances. Come 3,9-10 Honor the Lord with your property and (bring him) the primitures of each of your crops, and they will be filled with your barns of God, and your presses will flow through the must. This is probably the key to all your prosperity, and I’ll let you call it the golden verse of this post.

How many names of apostles can I name? Why? What apostle am I?
Matthew notes, “The names of the Twelve are: the first Peter …” (Mt 10: 2). On his pastoral journey in France, Pope John Paul II met with young people at a sports stadium. He asked the young people, “Who is Christ for you?” ? ‘ There was a spontaneous response: “Christ, it is you!” A shocking answer, but not blasphemous. You represent Christ, you teach us about Christ, so we know Christ through you. And the same is true of you! You can be a father, a mother, a young man, a girl, to workers … The way of life testifies whether you are Christ or not A view of our lives Our own view of our behavior, attitudes, opinions … speaks of our Christianity.
A priest working in Egypt taught in a class where the children were Christians and Muslims. He says: “When I entered the classroom, I asked the little one to recite some part of the Qur’an. A boy with a certain amount of self-confidence and respect gave a long passage. When he finished, others reported to recite as well. Then I asked the little Christians to say something in the gospel. They sat quietly and were silent. They knew only our Father. “
Just a few sentences a day to say about Christ, and what’s more – just one Christian creed during the day, and what it will do to us and to those around us. It is not enough to have only theoretical knowledge. For example, we know who wrote The Life of Christ. For example: Ricciotti, Willam, Mauriac, Papini but also Renan. They wrote biographies to capture faithfully and show the world its divine-human profile, its moral beauty, incomparable height, strength and goodness. Renan wrote untruthfully because he wanted to make fun of him. We also write with each of our words, with each of our deeds. We write and people read. Our biographies of Christ are still unfinished, but they are already reading from our lives. We write from baptism. Let’s make sure we write faithfully. As Jesus says in the Gospel: Let us ask the Lord of the harvest to send workers, our spiritual leaders, to a harvest that is really great, but there are few workers.
For example, there is no need to go far, let us turn our attention for a moment to our Czech brothers, those who have a thousand-and-a-fifty-year-old tradition of faith brought to them by Cyril and Methodius struggling with the problem of lack of vocations. When asked why this is so, many say: Faith is disappearing among the people, and simultaneously the ground is lost so that adepts for the priesthood – for service in the Lord’s harvest – can grow. And since there are no priests, the number of believers is gradually declining, because they are like a ship that has lost its helm in a storm, and only with great difficulty can it sail to the port of heaven.
The ways of God are unfathomable in our lives. Let us often ask God how to do God’s will. In the Father’s Prayer, we say, “Thy will be done …”. We pray for ourselves that we will always do the will of God.

Before we begin…
People do not become Christians because we have found some fantastic way get closer to them and how to address them.
Jesus offers a life and identity and a world that is worth it. If we are Christians, then we are the people who are worth it, we live that life it is worth it, and we are witnessing to all of this the new world we have discovered, we live in him, and he is really worth it. And when people see this, when they are convinced that it really is and not just some pretense, shed, deception, then many of them decide that hey, that it really they want! Not all, but many. Our problem with “converting” other people to “faith” is exactly that of them we turn, that is, we try to do it, instead of being ourselves reason for them to turn on their own. We can’t help it the conversion of others until we ourselves are converted until we ourselves are moved into the new World of Christ, and we ourselves do not live a new identity and a new Life, which we found in there – and we are not so much the reason and motive of their own conversion.
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye shut up the Kingdom of heaven in front of people! You do not enter it yourself, and you will not allow those who enter into it. “(Mt 23, 13)
Jesus pointed out the principle of the apostleship to himself and explained in one apt sentence: “I will come and take you to me that you also may be where I am. And the way, where I go, you know. […] I am the way … “(John 14: 3.6) And as Paul answered him, “Imitate me, even as I imitate Christ.” (1 Cor 11: 1) However, the condition of this type of apostleship is first our own relocation to the Kingdom and life in the Kingdom, as it was with Jesus: He said to them, “You are from below, I am from above. You are from this world; I am not of this world. “(John 8:23) And so, although we may desire activity and apostles before we begin, we must enter ourselves. Jesus set an example for us after His baptism took refuge in forty days in the wilderness. Or Paul, when after his conversion first spent two years in the desert in Arabia, before returning to Damascus and Jerusalem. But he didn’t do very well, so he took refuge again seclusion in Tarsus. It was not until he matured and entered the Kingdom fully that he returned as Paul, we know. “But when to God, who has already chosen me in the womb of his mother and by his grace he cried, and it seemed good to reveal his Son to me, that I might preach him among them, Gentiles, I have not consulted flesh and blood; neither have I gone to Jerusalem after those who were apostles before me, but I went to Arabia, and I am again returned to Damascus. “(Gal 1: 15-18)
“And it came to pass when many days were fulfilled, that the Jews knew that they should kill him learned. They guarded the gates day and night to kill him. Well, and his disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall in a basket. When he came to Jerusalem, trying to unite with the disciples, but they were all afraid of him because they did not believe that he is a disciple. And Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles, and he told them how he had seen the Lord on the way and that he had spoken to him, and how boldly you were in Damascus acted in Jesus’ name. And he lived with them in Jerusalem and was bold he acted for the Lord. He talked and argued with the Hellenist, and they attacked him they wanted to kill. When the brothers found out, they led him to Caesar ea and sent him to Caesarea Tarsus. And the Church had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria … “(Acts 9: 23-31)
Spending time in the silence of prayer and adoration daily is not a waste of time, but a necessary condition for us to be able to do anything at all.” That is why I will export her, lead her into the desert, and speak to her heart. Then I will give her vineyards and valleys … “(Oz 2: 14-15)What is so difficult about accepting a new identity and a new life? It’s that simple is an! That’s enough to be. If you believe where the problem is? And there is no belief either complicated procedure or complex work. Even a small child can do it in three seconds! “Verily I say unto you; Whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter into it. “(Lk 18:17) Don’t look at the Lord as “I would like to believe,” but simply as believers: Yes I’m here, and so I am, Lord. What are we going to do? What awaits us today? It is faith in essence, the lightest and simplest thing in the world!”So think ye also of yourselves: that ye are dead to sin, and alive unto God in Christ Jesus.” (Rom 6: 10-11) We don’t have to think about how to receive God’s gift when we have already received it and already have it! You are the Son (daughter) of God. So approach God as the Son of God (daughter)! Not as a person who would like to become one. You’re denying God’s Gift! How could you leave something that you just deny and reject?
“Salt is good. But if salt loses its salinity, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves and be accepting one another… “(Mk 9, 50) The result is (also) adoration in which we sit with Christ as if second, as brethren, siblings, as two sons of the same God in this in the same way and in the same work and destiny and deep sharing we experience this its intense and intimate closeness and similarity. I am the Son of God. I live what I live. I do what I do. Not because “that’s the way it is.” Not because it somehow shows up. Not because I want to get someone or something gain. Because I am the Son of God.

Let’s open ourselves for Jesus!
Parents are often amazed at their children. Children know every car, they know better to set up the radio and TV than adults. They often say to their mother: Mom, you have to do this. And the child really knows better. They learn faster than adults because their senses are sharp, clear, sensitive and open. That is why it is a cruel fate for a child when he is deaf or dumb. Today, there is a lot of business for such children to be able to sometimes it wasn’t like that. The deaf spoken of in the gospel was one of the poorest people. Therefore, the Lord has mercy on him. Jesus takes the sick aside from the crowd. He touches his fingers and tongue with his fingers. Not like a doctor touching a sick place to find out the cause of a disease, but Jesus is making a touch here that I don’t really examine anything about closed ears and dumb tongue are the cause of human misery. That’s why she says, “Effata,” which means, “Open up!” At that moment his ears were opened, and his tongue was loosed, and he spake correctly ”(Mark 34-35). And it became the norm a man who could already listen to others and know how to compare and have fun with others. Surely you were already somewhere where there was a big rumble, a rumble. When a helicopter flies low, we don’t hear the clock ticking. So if we don’t hear, it doesn’t have to be a hearing error right away. It may be something that deafens us. If we do not hear God, then we cannot discern his voice in conscience, let us consider why. Maybe the cause is the hustle and bustle in which we live. So just remove it. Every day, at least for a while. Is it true, that life does not allow any long meditations. But anyone can afford a moment of inner silence. It is already a question of will. But we’re used to the noise. We can no longer stand the silence and solitude. Even moments of relaxation can not be imagined other than with radio, television or picture magazines. We have to hear everything, see, and we fill in every moment of the day. Without it, we can no longer eat, wait for the bus, or go for a walk. Something or someone must always entertain us, distract us. Just so we don’t stay with ourselves, is annoying. These are usually remorse that we fear, that we flee from, that we despise. I hope you understand me well. I am neither against radio, nor against television or anything computer, magazine …
I just want to warn you, if you don’t stay silent for a day or a minute, you’ll never hear God’s voice. And yet you’re hearing, even the inner one, may be fine, so you don’t need any miracles courage and a little will. Don’t worry about it! God is not a punishing justice. God is above all merciful love. Believe me, it’s worth hearing his voice! However, the deaf is usually dumb as well. He can’t speak. Even the deaf and dumb from the gospel were probably brought by relatives, and they begged for him. We have a loved one who is deaf to every good word and is without is it not presumed that he himself would ask for healing? So let’s ask for him. Even today, Christ has the power to heal and is just as willing. So let’s ask him for the gift of hearing for all who lack. Parents, you will know how bad it is when your children are deaf to your admonition. And how many Christians are deaf! And am I a little one of them? Why? I listen and feel attentive as I approach him
conscience, this is the voice of God. The words of Scripture are the words of God. Enlightenment, inspiration, encouragement for the good, but also remorse for our loved ones, the sad look of our children, the tears of mothers, … in all this to us can we hear him?
And what about illness? You know, when we think about the amount of evil that is done by the tongue, I would almost say that sometimes it would be necessary to ask for silence as a gift. Just count it. How many seductions and quills, gossip! How many tears came out for swearing and insults! How many sleepless nights, black coffees and cigarettes! How much outrage came from ugly talk! And those useless and empty words, a reckless promise to the whole world – annoying the environment, provocative speech! This is all an abuse of the rare gift of speech. However, after the miracle, Mute began to speak correctly. And the right speech is good and kind. It is consolation, encouragement, salvation from despair, knowledge, happiness.
The Arabs have a wise saying, “When you speak, your words must be better than silence.” Bars, each of us, would stick to it! And he forbade them to tell anyone about it. But the more he forbade them to do so, the more they proclaimed it, and they were exceedingly amazed, saying, “He does everything well: he gives hearing to the deaf, and to speak to the dumb” (Mark 7:37). God still says something. To each in person. At home, at work, in passion, at entertainment …. He speaks to us intimately, friendly, strictly and fatherly, also fraternally and cordially. I believe that our ears will no longer be tuned only to other sounds, such as the clink of money earned, the plucking of glasses, the growl of luxury cars, poisonous speech, a charming man or woman. For these and other voice than his word. We got two ears. And certainly not that the word of God should go out one day and the other out, but that if one ear does not catch it, the other will serve as security. But what if we don’t listen to anyone like this woman from the upcoming story?
From childhood, she was raised religiously and was a believer. She lived her childhood cleanly. Her role model was the Virgin Mary. She brought her friends and girlfriends to God. Her marriage was blessed in the church. She was happy until the day when marital fidelity was betrayed in her life. If she had heard immediately and stood up on the remorse and voice of God, they could return with the brightness of the radiant days of her marriage. But she remained stubborn when she fell. At that moment, she became deaf to Christ. It was obvious from her speech. She said, “I can arrange my life as I want! No one will command me! I don’t need anyone to reprimand me, warn me. I can’t be religious about the joys of life!” She didn’t let her children go to Sunday Mass. She did not allow them to access the sacraments. And so the beautiful Catholic soul became an atheist, not because of ideological objections to religion, not because she found evidence against the existence of God, but purely because Christianity did not approve of her relationship with a foreign man. Therefore, she became deaf to Jesus. What about the fact that she still sees happiness in that deafness?
However, you can imagine how this happiness will dissipate in a few years, when even a stranger makes her feel better first. For now, I would like to allow you to see her face, the face of a brave husband and her unhappy children, to know how much pain deafness to Jesus can cause to the neighbor, who in this world is the cause of all chaos in human society and all disorder in the human soul.
And so, dear brothers and sisters, the Gospel sounds to us today: “Ephata,” which means “Open up!” (Mk 7.34). The word so important to our lives was marked by the evangelicals in Aramaic, which our Lord Jesus spoke when he lived on earth. May our ears be opened to Jesus at this word of Jesus!
We are praying:
Lord Jesus, open our ears so that we can listen to your word carefully.
Open our eyes to see your glory.
Open our mouths to glorify our Father who is in heaven.
Open our hands to give your gifts generously to your neighbors.
Open our hearts to love our heavenly Father through you, with you and in you forever.
