What defiles a person

Examine your insides and seek justice
One day, the famous painter Leonardo da Vinci painted a painting in his study On the last supper of the Lord, and as he was painting the face of Christ, one of his neighbors disturbed him. When he came to him, they started arguing a lot. Leonardo was so upset that his neighbor cursed and drove him out of the house. Then he returned to the painting and wanted to continue, but he couldn’t. Nothing he failed. He finally realized why. He went to the neighbor, begged him, and everything was fine. The neighbor was surprised. He asks what moved him to come, and he apologized. Leonardo called him into his study. There he showed him the face of Christ, on which he worked and proved: “I could not finish it until Christ dwells in mine. Leonardo thanked his neighbor for forgiving him and for helping him to convert his heart.
At one point, the painter’s heart seemed to harden. Even today, Jesus tells us the gospel in a parable about what defiles a person. Back then, as if our hearts were really closed and darkened. “One cannot stain anything that enters it from the outside. But what comes from a man is it he defiles a man ”(Mark 7:15).
Negative things come from the human heart, whether it is bad idea, theft, theft, adultery, greed, malice, immorality, envy, blasphemy, pride, stupidity. Elsewhere, Jesus mentions a language that can do great things, and on the other hand, it can do great things to hurt. “What a small fire and what a great mountain they kindle ‘a tongue, this restless evil, full of deadly poison, none of the men can tame ”(James 3: 5-8). Channel, by which evil things come, whether on the tongue or through other limbs, can do a lot of evil.
From now on, let’s work to ensure that we don’t just hurt ourselves with evil deeds, but lest we offend others with our lives. Let us ask the Lord Jesus to help us in this. May we do it with his help and grace to protect the defilement not only on the body but especially on the soul. We want to be clean a conscience to join the saints in their service to God! Lord Jesus, thank you for shedding your blood on the cross so that we may be cleansing from sins and that we have come to know your forgiveness. Above all, we want to trust your infinite mercy. May the Holy Spirit help us to see every day what comes “from the depths of our hearts.”

Psychological reasoning

A Christian identifies with Christ; he has his own life. It must also have some responsibility in our psychological consciousness, albeit mysterious and different individuals. It is a “consciousness of grace,” one of the most difficult theological problems. Therefore, let’s calm down a special consideration given this aspect about how necessary faith in Christ is in the young man’s upbringing in the difficult years of his life. Psychologists and educators have written various studies of the period of life called puberty, “Difficult years,” the period of maturation, between the ages of 12 and 14 of life. At that time, the psychological experience changes, boys or girls. The child is different, basically happy if he is healthy, no problems. He sees what exists and thinks that what he imagines exists or can soon be realized. Teen is different. He begins to dream with his eyes open, especially before bedtime. He imagines it will be great a scientist or winner of sports competitions, a world-renowned violinist, or an army general.
Jehovah’s future must be great. In her eyes, it is not worth living a gray, meaningless life. Unfortunately, he has no one to talk to about his plans. They would laugh at him. Neither his parents nor his educators understand him. He would like to run away from home during this period. The girl he dreams of marrying a prince feels humbled when they want her to help in the household with ordinary work. In difficult years thus, there is a real crisis of adolescence. On the other hand, “dreams” about the future grow stronger and attract the soul’s whole attention; on the other side of the environment forces a young person not to start from everyday life and deal with unimportant things. How to overcome this crisis? Psychologists say: depending on which teens can overcome these internal contradictions, life will also look like in the future he chooses. If the crisis lasts too long, it will occur in adverse consequences for further developing the personality. How, but will the crisis be resolved normally? We schematically distinguish four options.

FANTASTIC IDEALIST. Some minors get so strong they fall in love with their fantasies, their noble dreams, that it loses its sense of reality. They don’t notice what’s going on. Do you know Christ? Around them. In world literature, this type is masterfully portrayed by Cervantes in his novel Don Quixote. He eagerly read knightly novels. Represents thinking that he is a knight without fear and shame, he will conquer the world in paper armor, and at night he fights with windmills, which he considers enemy forces. Lady  Dulcinea is a great princess in her eyes, and he considers it an insult when someone tells him that he is going about a simple country girl. Not all idealists are so ridiculous. But with a certain amount of ridiculousness, we find them a nice line. They lose real opportunities to their noble ideals. Their lives are always tragic.

REALIST – MATERIALIST, CITIZEN. He also portrayed this type.
Cervantes. He is the exact opposite of Don Quixote, his servant Sancho Panza. He has no ideals. He is respected by what he sees and from which he benefits materially. Appreciate Dulcinea Don Quixote only when he discovers that he is the daughter of a countryman who can work. There are many types. During their adolescence, they wanted to fight for a better world, they had ideals, but they soon lost them. Life turned gray; he became prosaic. There is nothing that can be done; we have to put up with it.

REVOLUTIONARY. After all, he is an idealist. Desires for a better society. However, it is quite realistic. He sees that there is no better life. However, it can be done. It will destroy a hypocritical society that is not ideal, and after The destruction of the old order can begin with creating new. “To destroy them is to create,” said Bakunin, the prototype of Russian revolutionaries. These types are capable of victims. They are active; they believe in a better world. And the result of their efforts? Ironically, all revolutionaries eventually become burghers, and once they get to the government, they wear tails. And if governments don’t seize? It ends up being fantastic idealists, but not as harmless as Don Quixote. Because of their “ideal,” they can kill others.

EKLEKTIK, MAN, THE ONLY CHOICE. It seems that only these Individuals have even found the right solution to their adolescent crisis. At first, they dreamed of many things, that they would realize many ideas, that they would be scientists, artists, politicians, and realize that the proverb is right: who embraces many, grabs little. So they decide and choose only one ideal and leave others as something that does not have much price. The one who deals exclusively with mathematics, he will become a world-renowned mathematician. It’s different from a genius musician for whom there is nothing else. These are usually those called “geniuses. However, there are not many of them. Besides, there is a great danger. If the choice is wrong, life ends tragically as the man who built his house on the sand in the words of the gospel (cf. Luke 6:49). Except which all fanatics and numerous fools are of this kind of because they made radical decisions, but without basics

Jesus heals those who ask him to do so

Pray with faith for healing1.
Did each of us has had an illness in life? Some were light, others more difficult. It very much depends on how one accepts it. A great example in this we can be the lives of saints who have been and are role models for us. Everyone made it; they touched, healed.
Today’s gospel tells us about Jesus’ healing in Genesis. When Jesus came to the shore with his disciples, many of the sick came together,
who longed to be healed. “All that touched him were healed” (Mark 6:56). Sometimes we can envy the faith of these people who consider themselves great problems came to the place to feel the touch of God’s love and mercy. We do not know how many people have felt the healing power of Jesus, but we know about the great trust of these brothers and sisters in God’s power. Sometimes I ask myself: Where is he? Your faith? The Lord tells us: Whatever two or three you ask in mine me, you get it! Even today, it is necessary to surrender to God and receive His will completely. Not all who ask whether for themselves or their neighbors, are hearing. Let’s try to think why. Humans are sometimes like Jesus; we only need it when, figuratively speaking, it flows into our shoes. When we prosper, as if we have forgotten the one who is the master of our lives, and we walk our own paths. He sees in his providence into our hearts and knows whether healing is ours will help, or we will abuse it and start living worse than before.

Well-known Italian Capuchin Raniero Cantalamessa, who has been dedicated since 1980 to preaching and evangelism in Italy and other countries, speaks of healing: For healing, and we have only two ways to solve our problems: nature and grace. Nature is science, progress, medicine, technology, and all the resources that man received from God in creation. Grace is faith and sometimes attains from God healing and wonders, for all power belongs to God. But when you are, we will choose the third way, the way of occult forces hiding from God, without his blessings or directly abusing his name and his signs, for example, images of some saints then enters the scene of the lord and guide of the third the person who once said that all power on earth belongs to him and that he will give it to him, who will worship him. Encouraged by today’s gospel, let us try to desire even more and to a greater extent not only after physical but also after spiritual healing. That’s all to be built on the deep trust, prayer, love, and faith that is the essence of ours everyday life. Let us ask for this at this Holy Mass, not only for ourselves but also for our loved ones at home.

Acquisition of strong will MM 23

I will give more rules and ways to gain a strong will. Above all, it is necessary to explain the situation of people who lack a strong will. Weak-willed people are hypersensitive. Who are carried away by their requests? People are hesitant, indecisive, and unable to submit to discipline, those who are unable to adapt to permanent employment controlled by various moods and whims. In unstable persons, we observe the decomposition of the vol. It is a state of mental disorder, disturbed balance. While people long for the truth, they do not have the active will to achieve the truth; they cannot observe, they can research, but above all, they cannot get rid of prejudices and superstitions.

In people with weak, no main intellectual ideas are limited in their actions, unstable, and act according to their superficial ideas and whims. They are extremely accessible to foreign influences. These people often avoid a healthy society, but the right society creates an order for a person to model his character. Education of strong will also require continuous physical and hygienic education, which means the necessary rest, proper nutrition, and body exercise. A person with a weak will does not know what he wants, does not think about the consequences of his actions, loses vitality, will energy, desire to fight, strive, strive. People with a weak will cannot overcome mental difficulties, fear, indecision. All evil and characterless people have free will. Lowness and ignorance bind the human being’s reason is insufficient, and willpower is weak. To gain a strong will, it is above all necessary to know oneself. To gain a strong will, one must cause violence, cultivate self-denial, and still struggle. He must control and control himself, then overcomes physical weakness, and his will grows stronger.

The will can be practiced like any muscle to gain strength and flexibility. Let your desires be clear, firm, and precise. We strengthen the will if we ignore unpleasant feelings and do not notice a little pain. Let’s do something we have to force at least once a day. This will strengthen our will. By suppressing the lust of the body, our will is also stronger. To acquire a strong will, we must awaken the life force and fight against bad habits and instincts because only in this fight will they be stronger. Let’s not talk. I cannot blame our nature; let us not make our weakness an idol to which we sacrifice everything, alcohol, cigarettes, women. Don’t treat yourself softly, indulgently. We do not live comfortably. In renunciation, in enduring adversity, power and strength are needed to strengthen the will. At the same time, any method of body hardening means strengthening the will. What qualities does our will have, so do our characters!

The image of Christ in the life of the saints

Saints are living images of Christ. They also emphasize in his life this or that aspect of the fullness of the infinite holiness of the God-Man. We’ll settle for three examples.
SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI. In his spiritual development, we can schematically distinguish three main phases. First could be called “revolutionary.” Although he lives in a Christian society, he discovers that the gospel’s law is not the world’s law. He writes the rules in the cave at Fonte Colombo for themselves and their brethren, which are not anything but quotations from the gospel. And yet, it hits for trouble. Church authorities are reluctant to approve such an imperfect “order” that could lead to incorrect interpretations.

The second period of the saint’s life could be characterized as “following Christ.” In Greccio, he creates the first living nativity scene, as if to say that it is not enough to pay attention only to the gospel’s words, such as some theoretical program. It is necessary to place the Savior in life, revive them before our eyes, imitate his person, and follow him.

The experience of the third period is “life in Christ. “La Verna is given stigma, so he can say clearly, “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”
. Christ does not imitate himself as an example, who stands before us, but like the one who lives in the U.S.

IGNAC FROM LOYOLA. Jehovah was very interested in contact with Christ confidential. He saw Christ in visions more than thirty times.
The goal of his method of meditation was to become a personal conversation with Jesus “as a friend he speaks with a friend.” However, he concluded from this. The experience that Christ he has done so much for me and is still acting, requiring a generous answer: What should I do for Christ? At this point, Ignac was not very clear. For one side fervently longed not to follow him spiritually, but physically, in the footsteps of Jesus, go to the Holy Land, stay there and find death there. On the other hand, he was faced with possibilities at all times, letting others know the greatness of Jesus and the beauty of spiritual life. After long hesitations, the second aspect prevailed. It was closed because of the war journey to the Holy Land. That’s when Providence gave the saints understand that he should not serve Jesus in Palestine, in his native land in the material sense, but his church. When he was ordained a priest, he wanted to serve his own Holy Mass in Bethlehem. Then he served her in Rome in the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in front of the remains of the crib, and he and his companions entered into the service of Christ living in the church.

CHARLES DE FOUCAULD. He also has spiritual development in different degrees. After leaving the military school, where it was all focused on success and career, Charles was affected by the gospel’s teaching, which encourages us to choose the last place (cf. Lk 14:10). But because the last place Jesus, Charles de Foucauld, has already chosen in this world, he conceived the intention to occupy the “penultimate.” And he also sought them first in a Trappist monastery, then in service in Syria to the Bedouins, then still in Nazareth as a simple servant in the sisters’ convent. But finally, c got the idea that it meant a turning point in his life. Jesus did not choose the last one instead of serving us as a benefactor who comes from elsewhere, but by becoming one of us. France had many missionaries who, along with Christian teaching, brought a higher cultural and social standard.
De Foucauld chose another method, namely the method of the incarnate Christ. He lived with the poor Bedouin in the Sahara; he became one of them and died because he did not want to separate from them in times of danger.

God invites us to himself

Let’s rethink our lives.
That’s how the weekend starts; everyone is happy to be home from robots, from school, many are going to clean their apartment or do something at home for the family. Jesus addressed the apostles: “Come to a lonely place yourself and rest a little ”(Mk 6:31).
They returned to Jesus from the apostolic journeys to which he had sent them. Sure, pain gladly to be allowed to rest, talk to Jesus, and brag about everything they did, even though we know they failed because people found them and wanted to learn.

Although we are not apostles, we are not so stressed by preaching the Gospel, even though we all live it, which is also challenging, but surely everyone is looking forward to meeting Jesus. We don’t have to tell him what we did; he knows it. But he will tell us to rest with him. But this is eternal rest. But we have time for rest here on earth too? It is not rest, like rest. Laziness is a deadly sin, but everyone needs sleep. Sleep is necessary for mental health; that is, no one can blame you, even though watching is more useful and meritorious. But you still can’t just work; you also need to gather strength. And not just strength, because we work to be, they have earned the bread for life, but as Christians, we are also to work on merit for eternal life.

Everyone needs to earn money for food, clothes, housing, and other
things. But we must not forget the treasures where their rust or moths
does not destroy, in heaven, where we try to work from the earth. We must not think only of current life. We have only limited time. However, this does not mean that we should recover. The Lord rested on the seventh day and blessed him, whereby he sanctified him. We have to find time to rest, in addition to the work we have to do. I heard one joke, maybe you know him. An elderly gentleman was walking the park and noticed two government officials doing something. He came closer, and he saw one digging a pit, the other burying it. And still like this. It didn’t give him peace, so it did. He asked them what they were doing. “We plant trees,” they replied. “But none here the trees are not, “the gentleman wondered. And they said to him, “We work according to the method of division of labor, one digging a pit, one planting trees, and filling another pit. Well, the one who planted trees is free today. ” It’s funny? Maybe so, but isn’t that sometimes the case with us? When someone wants to do many things at once, he may forget something. It doesn’t happen to us that do we ever leave God out of our efforts? After all, as the psalmist says, “If the Lord they do not build a house, those who build it work in vain ”(Ps 127: 1). It is also up to us sometimes to take a break and see if we have done everything as we should.

When plowing potatoes, look back to see if they have come out of the furrow. If sometimes, we don’t look for ourselves to see if we are making a mistake or where we made it. We have Sunday tomorrow. The day the Lord has set aside for us to enjoy it separately honored. We still have to think about it, but Sunday is a day of rest to do time only for the Lord. Let’s take time for the Lord, for ourselves, for our family, and gain strength for a whole week so that we can continue to work in the world for eternity.

Fift Sunday in Ordinary Time Mk 1,29-39

Jesus’ healing power (Mark 1: 29-39)
Let us believe in the power of Jesus’ healing.

Dear brothers and sisters! Each of us has overcome disease in life. How did it affect my inside? I accepted her, or I muttered, why am I the person she struck? What does Jesus do when he meets a sick person?
“He approached her, grabbed her arm, and picked her up. The fever left her, and she served them ”(Mark 1:31).
Peter’s mother-in-law is strapped to the bed. Sometimes illness can cause those we have served to have to serve us now. It does not have to be just a physical illness, but also a mental illness when one feels anxious and suffering. We are to ask the best doctor, Jesus, not only for ourselves but also for our physical and mental healing and those who need it even more. This requires a sincere request, humble, which is perhaps the best cure for fever. It is to be based on a pure heart, full of love.
It is worth remembering the words of the Lord Jesus: “Whatever you did to one of my least, you did to me.” He is given to us in sacrifice as an example worthy of following. Of course, it should be a matter to help the sick and suffering in the area, which few people remember. We will also be rewarded for a glass of water served out of love, so let us be attentive and kind to those who depend on others. All it takes is a little effort and sincere effort to make a person feel love and new motivation for life. We have many examples of healing in Scripture – a woman who touched the rim of Jesus’ robe, a servant of centuries.

The Lord Jesus comes to this earth to help us so that we can heal diseases among men. We feel the need to heal the world in its relationships, how we like it when we meet a person who loves others when we meet with cordiality towards us, how we don’t like it when someone wants to dose heartiness in drops. The cordiality dosed in drops kills and destroys the joy. We must completely and spontaneously show interest in the man in our love. She is the best cure for the disease. It requires strong faith. She is true and illuminates our mind, protecting it from error. He heals our wounds and remnants of inherited sin, making us inclined to get out of the way easily. Sometimes illness is necessary for our spiritual growth. Here it is always important to examine God’s will. Jesus first reveals his power in the New Testament by miraculous healing, so they brought to him the sick and possessed by evil spirits, and he healed them. He manifests his power over pain by giving it a new meaning in the kingdom of God. But the best answer to the mystery of pain is given by Jesus by his torture and death on the cross. Through pain and suffering, the Father calls us into his love.
Someone is on his way from Jerusalem to Jericho. He is waiting for someone to show him mercy. Someone is heading to Golgotha. He fell; he’s half-dead. He is waiting for someone to help him carry the burden. Many lie on the roads injured, abandoned, lost, half dead. They follow the paths of the astray, resigned, helpless, waiting. Neighbors wait and seek in our ways those who believe, hope, and love. Here one on the way brings bread. Bread for you. Bread forgiving, for healing, bread for life. The bread of life. Someone is on the way – God for you, for us. For salvation, for healing, for life. God doctor, God-life. One thing is certain: in suffering, disease one recognizes that one does not have the keys to the mystery of life and death in my hands; the pain refers him to Someone Bigger. A painful question is a special way to talk to God.
At the hospital visit, the priest asks an elderly sick woman, “How are you?” The lady replies: “Hard, very bad.” – “What’s wrong with you? What’s bothering you?” – “My children haven’t been with me for over five weeks.” her children ignore her.

Often when we give the patient medicine, he says, “Give me your hand!” He wants the healing of his body and the healing of his life, his soul.

When Mother Teresa came to Czechoslovakia, two newlyweds came to see her give her a large sum of money. She asked them, “Don’t you need money?” – “Mother Teresa, we are happy. Some people don’t like each other and can’t love each other, whether for hunger or misery. “Then the young people said,” We decided to give all the wedding gifts to the poor, the suffering and the sick. “

Lord, you are also in charge of the people’s well-being, in your son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit you want to heal us. Please help us to be less selfish and realize that the treatment of human well-being is not allowed only in a drop. Help those who do not rule, are exploited, abused in their surroundings, let them not suffer, and give us the strength to be doctors of warm, pleasant coexistence. Each of us can make medicines for goodness and love and can test our medical abilities in this way.

Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, who loves all and does not forget anyone, we make prayers to you for all your creation and all your children. We remember all those on whom you placed the cross of suffering, physical illness, and weakness.FTP all who are without relatives and friends, to all who are troubled by the suffering or sin of those they love, to all who have been affected by the loss, to find security and peace in you in the dark days. For all who are immersed in their sorrows, we ask you to begin to share their worries with their brothers and to know the mysterious and blessed communion of the cross. Furthermore, we ask you for all who are lonely and sad in the midst of others’ joy to know you as their Friend and Comforter. Remember all who walk through the valley of the shadows to know that the risen Christ is with them and that he is the light even in the evening.

The truth will set us free

Let’s learn to appreciate the value of truth.
We can’t even imagine what money goes to advertising. Everyone wants to sell to earn to increase his profit. There is talk of the art of selling. But we can imagine how advertising sometimes deceives or annoys us. But after all, without it, we would have a hard time learning about some useful things.
There is an interesting sentence about Herod in the Gospels – When John the Baptist, “He listened, he was very embarrassed, and yet he liked to listen to him” (Mark 6:20). This is not Herod, who wanted to kill Jesus as a child out of fear before the future king. He is his successor on the throne. As we heard for Herodias, John was imprisoned, his sister-in-law, because he blamed him as a sin. John Baptist was right, but as it is now, not everyone liked the truth even then. That each of us knows who has ever told the truth to someone proud. Finally, John died for the truth, but it was largely due to female hatred and male hatred conceit. Herodias must have cut her when it says that she wanted to have him killed long and attentively, she nurtured her hatred for John, who could prepare her the truth about a nice place. Herod was a fool, for he was certainly drunk when he danced he also promised half the kingdom, and he certainly was, and certainly, because of his conceit, it depended on others’ opinion when he did not want to break the oath. In the end, it would be possible to say that Herod lost his head more than John the Baptist because of his wife.

We are also offered the truth in readings, gospels, and sermons. But
anyone can tell us the truth. Jesus himself said there were a way truth and life. And we cannot reject him. But if we can not refuse anyone to tell us the truth? After all, the truth will set us free. The truth to essays Jesus, his followers revered, died for her. And we have it for her to burn. We have to spread it, learn to speak it. The devil is called the father of lies, and we want to be to Christ, be in the eternal feast with Christ, and not to be through lies have become the food of the devil in hell. Truth is real value, the value of us Jesus teaches when he says your yes, let it be yes and your no, let it be no. Because of a lie, it hasn’t benefited anyone yet, and if it seems to have succeeded, it’s really just an appearance.

Charles Lewis, a well-known writer, and thinker say it is foolish to teach politicians to be honest, just, and truthful, for they should know it when they are little boys. Let us learn to tell the truth, for righteousness can be built on honesty and love. After all, if we love someone, we won’t lie to them; he looks great in that outfit. When we know it’s not true, and everyone gets it, he will laugh behind his back. When we love someone, we won’t lie to them; he can go up the ladder when we know the ladder is broken because he could kill himself. And if we love someone, we can’t lie to them that everything is fine when we see that he is sinning because he would not have come to heaven, and we should have its responsibility too.

Let’s hear a story about a fisherman and his son. The fisherman returned from the hunt and put the net to fix my little son. He began to repair the nodes on the net honestly, but over time he stopped enjoying it, he made the knots weaker and looser, looser, to finish as soon as possible and go to play with friends. The next day, however, his father took him fishing. They sailed with the boat to sea and threw the net. As they began to pull her out, the boy slipped and fell into the water. However, his father did not jump after him because he knew she was in the net; he just pulled her faster. When her, however, he pulled out, leaving a hole in it because the nodules were not well tucked. Thus, his son drowned. He paid for his own lie and paid for it with his life. One lie, one dishonesty, and it cost him his life.
Who among you knows whose lie he can pay for? Most often on your own. Ads don’t have to be deceiving. It is enough if they do not tell the whole truth or only say what suits them. But we don’t want to sell ourselves to Jesus. We are they have already given him, and therefore let us speak and act as he wished and taught – truly.

God is still calling for ministry

To proclaim the gospel of life.
Is there a place in the world where the Church has not yet come? Maybe somewhere in the jungle, because the world is already explored. “Jesus called the Twelve and began to send them in pairs” (Mk 6: 7). The bishops are called the successors of the twelve. There are more, but there are more places as in historical Israel. They went in pairs because the Bible says that the testimony of two men, if they say the same thing is true, even so, that two witnesses are enough to be sentenced to death. They gained power over unclean spirits. They have power from the Creator over spiritual things. But they don’t have to take anything but a stick. The wand is an ancient sign of a pilgrim or shepherd. It supports way and serves to defend against beasts or bandits, but it is so simple that it can be found everywhere and does not need special care—money, pocket, or bread two garments – thus.

Jesus told the apostles not to take care of their material security because he says elsewhere that God also takes care of the birds of heaven, he will take care of them. Worrying about the property can cause them to stop caring about their main mission: they will be afraid to leave unsecured or even go on making money on themselves. After all, they cannot print material wealth but spiritual wealth. He also speaks of modesty because they have to stay in the house not to gradually “Eat” the whole town or village. But they don’t even have to stay so that they don’t get lazy or to be able to announce the coming of the Messiah everywhere. Now that there are more priests. Although they stay in one parish longer, they make money on themselves and do not threaten to the gospel was not preached to anyone. But if they would not receive the apostles somewhere, they also have to shake off the dust from their shoes to show that they have nothing to do with those who did not want to accept the possibility of salvation. And so did the apostles.

And me? After all, every Christian is a disciple of Jesus. It is said here about twelve, but each of us has a duty to proclaim the teachings of Christ. But now you are, you don’t have to worry about where you go or what stick you take. We have yet other options. You certainly won’t find a person who hasn’t heard yet so easily about Jesus. But there are plenty who don’t know what he wants from us. They don’t know despite hearing about love, Christians also hate each other. They do not know this, even though they have heard of forgiveness, and Christians hate themselves. They do not know this; even though they have heard something about justice, Christians are also stealing. Even though they have heard something about mercy, Christians do not know if they do not forgive the mistake. But we are also Christians. And so are we sometimes like this, but I hope I’m wrong. After all, if that’s the case, we have something to be ashamed of because our life is to be put into practice teaching Jesus. And if we don’t live like that, how are we to be preachers of the kingdom of God? We don’t have to walk away from the city to the city and preach the gospel, but we must, we really must show the gospel it works!

Mahatma Gandi worked for some time in South Africa, which was a British colony, as India. He began to read the Bible, and he became very interested. Therefore, he once went to church to be he became better acquainted with this teaching. He came up in front of the church, where two men gently but emphatically pointed out that if he wants to pray, he can do so, but in the church, which is designed for colored – blacks. He turned and never appeared in church again. Politics apartheid, i.e., the division of citizens according to race. And this stupidity may be a distraction since Christianity one of the greatest personalities of the 20th century. And yet we strive to save the whole world. Christ’s teaching has spread throughout the world, but there are still places that did not come. Let us try not to let the hearts of the people disgusted by our evil in this place testimony.

God’s ways are unfathomable

We do not know how long God can work on us. Sure, it already happened that you had an idea, but that rejected you. They did not acknowledge you, or they laughed at you, but it turned out that you were right or that your solution was the best in the end. It may not often happen, but I know one is sorry.

We see how the inhabitants of Nazareth rejected Jesus, “the prophet is worshiped everywhere, but not in his own country, among his relatives ”(Mk 6: 4). It’s hard to help someone when they don’t want help. And it is tough watching someone hurt someone we love whom we can help, but we can not. Jesus also liked his neighbors in Nazareth; he did we assume that according to tradition, he lived in Egypt for 7 years and then went to Nazareth, where he was obedient to his parents. He started teaching at about 30 years old, and those. He lived with them for 23 years, working as a carpenter, so they could get to know him around. And now he has come and wants to pass on to them a new doctrine, the doctrine of salvation. But it is still for them a carpenter, and for some, he is perhaps a puffball who came from the roads and thinks someone about themselves.

It does not happen that the new priest goes to the town or village to follow the chaplain, where it grew up. This is reasonable, because for many, he will remain only the boy who did this and that when he was little. But we know that he may know better the mindset or mistakes of locals like other priests. But the possibility of prejudice is greater than the benefits of knowledge. Brothers and sisters, it is not good to have prejudices against someone only because we think we know the man. He can always give us something new. The older man can tell us something from experience, the young man some new perspective on the thing. But the truth is, we can still learn something new. Something to us enriches. And we can also learn what God’s will is if we are open to the voice.

Lord, we will hear him in the voices of our neighbors, for Christ himself, he said, “Whoever handed a glass of water to one of these little ones, handed it to me.” But he doesn’t just have to ask for mercy to give us a chance to get some merits for eternal life. He can also give us some advice, help, the recommendation for our lives, listen and fear prejudice. Prejudices are bad because if someone condemns someone who speaks to him, he has in his image, not the image of his speech. After all, the rejection of good advice from a man against whom we are prejudiced is pride, and that, as we know, is one of the main one’s sins because we want to exalt ourselves above God.

I recently read a story with a similar idea – about prayer and prejudices: One priest wrote a sermon on God’s providence when he suddenly began to break frowns. After a while, the radio sounded that the dam had broken and the village inhabitants must be evacuated. The priest said that he would show an example of God’s providence. He prayed to God to save him and continued to discipline. The water rose to the house’s threshold when the boat came to the window, and the rescuer called him to board the boat. He refused. When water she went up by the window, the boat came again, but the priest refused again. As the water rose higher, he climbed to the roof, but the boat refused for the third time. But as soon as the boat pulled away, washed away, the foundations did not last, and the house collapsed. When the priest is before the Lord in a personal judgment, he immediately ran out to him with the question: “Why didn’t you save me, because I asked you to, because I wanted to prove your providence to the people. ” But God replied,“ Why are you complaining? A who do you think sent the three boats to you? ” You see, dear believer, God will take care of us when we pray to him. God will tell us what a mistake we make in our lives. God still to us, he says. But he doesn’t have to appear in a cloud or a burning bush, nor does he have to send an angel.

It is often enough for God to send an ordinary person in our way. It must have happened to you that someone told you something. And maybe it happened to you that you have rejected his advice because you do not like the person you like came. And maybe it happened to you that you then regretted this rejection. Let’s try to make such regret as little as possible.
