God’s signs

In the Gospel, we hear the harsh words of Jesus Christ: “This generation is evil. He asks for a sign, but he doesn’t get a warning…. “(Luke 11:29). He speaks to those who have hard-hearted hearts and refuse to believe that his testimony is far more powerful and convincing than anyone before him. These words of the Lord until now, it is first necessary to know that in the time of Jesus, unbelief did not mean denial of God’s existence. In today’s situation, distrust means atheism, a rejection of God and his presence.

Moreover, Jesus says that in the Last Judgment, our generation will be confronted with the generations that lived long before us. In ancient times, these are not shadows and bones but lived close to the goal, God. One day, he will look us in the eye with the question of how we handled their message. Let’s try to imagine how many generations sold faith in Christ before it came to us at the beginning of the third millennium. Although our ancestors had a difficult life, they knew the most valuable legacy and wealth, which must be sold to children and preserved in all circumstances. Today we must ask ourselves the question: Aren’t we the very generation in the nation’s history that has failed to sell faith in Christ to its generation? What’s more, isn’t it that this generation has lost its faith? Can this generation be reversed and renewed ?!

The worst is dull indifference, emptiness, inability, and unwillingness to ask questions and try to capture God’s voice in the heart. Such a severe reflection opens the word of God in us today, so that we may realize with deadly seriousness what is expected of those who understand, hear, and believe. Let us ask God to help us find in our hearts an answer that is worthy of God.
