Jesus himself showed us the way. He loved all people without distinction. He didn’t look at which social class he was from, but he also met people whom others despised. Let’s think about how we are doing. Do we follow God’s commandments in our lives? While maintaining them, we do not have to worry about losing our freedom. Obedience to the commandments elevates man to true size, as we clearly hear: “Who is them, he shall be great in the kingdom of heaven ”(Mt 5:19).

In its size, it results from his union with God and God’s will. Who keeps the commandments? He wants the same thing that God desires and fulfills what God wants to fulfill through him. And just a man who does God’s will establishes a strong position in heaven’s kingdom. Nowadays, many drivers ride their cars according to their own ideas.
They do not follow the maximum permitted speed, do not respect traffic signs, and behave very arrogant. Often such drivers end their journey tragically and do not reach the destination. However, those who respect traffic signs, maximum speed, and the law will not end theirs way, but they come to the destination. Let us also be such disciplined drivers. Let’s not just act as it suits us, but let’s apply to his life the demands that God has given us through his commandments. Using these commandments, we come to our goal, to the kingdom of heaven.

Encourage people to become the salt of the earth through their Christian lives and the light of the world.

The invisible enemy is more dangerous than the visible. So it is in the spiritual life. Evil is dangerous. We are in danger from many sides. One of his means is attached to the property and earthly good. Do we want to avoid him? Let us receive this of Christ with sincere faith word and live according to it. We will thus become poor in spirit, and we will get a reward in the kingdom of heaven.

Recently, much attention has been paid to the topic of values. We look at it separately in public forums. And it’s a good trend. The motto word value and its derivatives (for example, valuable) point to something significant. Public figures often use terms such as ‘family values, ‘which this company is based on in their speeches, “Fundamental values ​​of our society,” and the like. With such expressions, we seem to be constantly covered up. It seems that they contain something fundamental, something that lies at the very root of our human experience. But as appealing as the word may seem, it is not easy to determine through them what the term “value” means. While this ambiguity may suit, for example, politicians who use the word to provoke emotional reactions, it may be quite uncomfortable for the rest of us that such a vital factor as if lost its true content. One of the reasons for obscuring the concept of values ​​is that this term is present in two areas of human existence. Is it the economic field and the sphere of human experience? Although it might seem that the moment of value is the same in both cases at a glance. However, a more in-depth analysis reveals that the perception of this concept is essential in these two areas’ differences, and these are critical to a correct understanding of values ​​in the human realm.
Price and value
In economic terms, value is a simple quantity. Value is closely linked to “price,” and we are happy to have an exchange medium (money) that allows us to place any property or service on the universal scale of values. Value the relative price of any two items allows us to determine which is “more valuable” and see how diverse the values ​​are. The market is working really well in our time. Its basis is that the price of a product is related to raw materials, design, production, and distribution spent on producing that product.  Therefore, the product is intrinsically linked to the product itself, objectively measurable facts and factors, and not our personal assessment of the product. And in general, our behavior as consumers reflects this assertion. You would be willing to pay, say a million for a Ferrari; however, you wouldn’t pay so much for Škoda. And if they ask you why you would say that it is simply “not so good.” If you in a store, they found a TV with an 82-inch diagonal for 500 euros, you should be tempted to buy everything they have there.
When asked why you bought so many TVs when you need one, you would probably answer like this: “Because their true value it’s definitely at least tenfold. “And you probably would with the belief that you will be able to sell all those TVs to some eager customers for more than 500 euros. You know they would certainly immediately recognize the value of television. But as soon as we move on in our research, look at the consumer goods, the situation will change a bit. What, for example, determines the price of a work of art, say Van Gogh’s image? The price of canvas and paints cannot be higher than a few hundred euros. No matter how much we allocate to an artist’s work, we will certainly not come close to what this painting gets at auction. There may be less familiar paintings to me; the authors created even much longer than Van Gogh’s. However, they will not attract buyers for a fraction of the amount they are willing to pay these people for Van Gogh’s work. Until then, LP records gradually lost value. Today, it has come so far that today these plates are sold for grandma, regardless of the cost of their production and recording on them. Again, however: its real price was more or less symbolic. Prices depend on the ideas of buyers because economic value relating to beauty is a matter of taste. The desires and ideas of customers are changeable; they fly up and down like mercury in a thermometer.
It’s okay when it comes to the economic system. It can be but also to transfer to the realm of human values? Life offers us innumerable values ​​to which it is not possible to attach price tags. For example, how much would you pay for a strong and united family? How much does a faithful husband cost? It’s like in one song, Beatles: Money can’t buy me, love – Love can’t buy me, love. Are all these values ​​- human, religious, moral, and other similar values ​​- based on similar subjective principles, personal desire, or taste, as in the market sphere? Many of you might say yes. Truth be told, the predominant factor of values ​​in modern society is the economic model. Values ​​are often considered only personal, private matter, creating individual or collective desires and farces. In this way, the values ​​were reduced to an ordinary expression of personal emotion, such as a person subjectively prefers one color over another or prefers one sport before another.
Others argue that values ​​must contain elements of stability and objectivity. This will then allow them to be judged as good or bad, deep or superficial, higher or lower. At its core, the question is whether some things in life are really better than others, or whether some things need to be pursued, even at the cost of great sacrifices, and others are not. If, in fact, everything is a throw-in, if there is no difference in value, let’s say between honesty and dishonesty, between war and peace, education and ignorance. It will not make sense to talk about values ​​objectively. Regarding applying the economic model to human values ​​in general, two problems need to be noted: the first is the radical subjectivity of the economic model that separates values ​​from human existence. In the case of goods, the value fluctuates. However, separation is not possible here regarding human values ​​closely linked to our human naturalness. Although running in the park or dieting can be fashionable, or vice versa, health will always be of high value to man.
The second difficulty stems from the temptation to place all values ​​at the same level as if they were comparable. This process works in the economy because all consumer products can be translated into a standard scale using currency, i.e., money. However, in the case of human values, this mechanism is not can be applied. The value of sincerity cannot be weighed, for example, by a good lunch. Both sincerity and food are values, but each of them stands on a different level.

As I know you, you are not indifferent to your faith. You feel called to Christianity. Being a Christian does not mean that I accept the teachings of the Lord Jesus or speak to him by mouth, but believing and being a good Christian is a matter of life, being a faithful believer of Christ every day. On this subject, the Lord Jesus very often spoke to the apostles and the Pharisees to all who came to listen to his words. He once said these words: “Not everyone who says to me: Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven” (Mt 7:21). The Lord Jesus has invited us and still invites us today to practice this much-needed activity of ours. Our faith does not ask us for many beautiful words or flowery expressions but a sacrificial Christian life by asking for actions that would confirm the truth of what we are saying.

To practice such a religion, they want to encourage us to read at St. Mass, especially the encouragement of the poor widow, but also a warning to the scribes and Pharisees. With their lives, the Pharisees denied the true religion they preached through their mouths. Theoretically, they were religious, but as for practice, life, they did the exact opposite. They often prayed only for their people to see what the Lord Jesus rebuked them for. In this gospel, we are taught how to connect theory with practice and see its true religion. Above all, it must be a religion based on the inside, on the heart, on its needs, and for the needs of other hearts. Our faith must not be based on external things, processes, decorations, pomp. All this is good, we can say very good, but it is not proof of true religion. The Lord Jesus calls such religion a religion “to watch.” The Pharisees often practice this in their lives. They did everything so that people could see them. It often became pride for them, and there was a desire for material benefits.

This gospel also clearly states this: “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long garments, long for greetings in the streets, for the first seats in synagogues, and feasts at feasts. They will eat the houses of the widows and seem to be praying for a long time. “(Mark 12: 38-40). there was no sincerity. It is difficult to dislike such a religion of the Lord God. The Lord Jesus often denounced it, pointing out that there can be no talk of true religion without inner transformation in man. What religion is in our hearts? Let us not earn merit for heaven, for heaven man earns merit exclusively by selfless deeds; such deeds are needed as much as possible in our lives; they are not only an ornament that values ​​these deeds but also give the Church the splendor and glory. Something costs, the more with ú valuable in God’s eyes. There are a lot of people who can’t rate them. It doesn’t matter; it is not decisive. The main thing is that Almighty God will evaluate them. He alone will give us a truly objective reward for them. May our religion be the same as our lives. The scriptures have captured several expressions by which people have humiliated Jesus: possessed by the devil, Beelzebub’s ally, drunkard, a friend of the public, rich man, a transgressor of the law, dishonor of the sabbath, thug, seducer. Just a simple fabrication. Let us remember the goodness with which he acted towards sinners, the sick, and the old. He proved to all the fullness of his love and mercy. Although more than 2,000 years have passed since the earthly life of Jesus Christ, the situation is repeated. People also look at it from different angles. Some consider him a slave who rebelled against the Roman government, others as an Asian wizard and fakir, others as an eastern ascetic. Some even claim that he did not live at all. But some consider him a fool. However, Jesus defends himself and shows everyone that he is the Son of God who came to this world to redeem humanity. Through the love of sacrificial priests and religions, he proves this through pure souls after holy confession, through several heroic martyrs, and millions of sincere Christians. By His divine power, he expels diabolic – sins from our souls as well. When sin expels, the kingdom of God, the kingdom of righteousness, love, and peace, comes to it.
At this moment, too, we are convinced that he is the Son of God and that all the accusations against him are a lie. Therefore, let us stay with him, listen to his words, and call with St. Peter: Lord, you have the words of eternal life! At this moment, Jesus will reward us with praise and tell us: Everyone who does the will of my Father who is in heaven is my brother, sister, and mother. Thus, faith and the pursuit of his will keep us close to Jesus.

GOD AS ONE
God knew and understood as One, if the highest and living being, attracts people whose life is intellectual and emotional searching for unity. He and such persons are usually always conscious of internal opposites or opposing forces that endanger man, and by that, they can divide and tear its interior. The forces of danger have the real and necessary balance needed to man could be human. Then God is perceived if one that brings unity into the experienced chaos. Saint Catherine of Genoa, a great figure in the mysticism of the fifteenth century, von Hüge l describes as a person with such strong and contradictory tendencies that he had only one choice: to pass on with and the call of God, or with and to fall apart.  He used his immense energy and talent and experienced the spiritual life and at the same time in the management of one of the largest charitable institutions in the world. If God is attracted to One, you should accept this aspect of your spirituality for life and not fight against it. When the Bible speaks of faith and Christianity in general, it points to
one important little thing. For example, Jesus quotes Isaiah: “For the heart of this people is dull: they have hardly heard their ears, and their eyes have closed; that they may not see with their eyes and hear with their ears, that they may not understand with their hearts; and they have not been converted — so that I cannot heal them ”(Mt 13:15). And again, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy mind-heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind! 38 It is the greatest and first commandment. ”(Mt 22: 37n). Elsewhere, he blames himself again to the disciples: “You who do not understand and have a heart to believe everything spoke the prophets! 26 Didn’t the Messiah suffer all this, and so on to enter into your glory? ”(Lk 24,25n).

When Stefan speaks in council, he will say, “51 You stubborn with an uncircumcised heart and ears, you always oppose the Holy Spirit; you as well as your fathers. ”(Acts 7.51). And Paul again warns the Romans: “5 But you are with your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you accumulate anger for the day of anger, when the righteous judgment of God will be revealed ”(Rom 2: 5). And then he immediately outlines the solution: “9 For if by your mouth you confess: “Jesus is Lord!” And in your heart, you will believe that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved ”(Rom 10: 9). Enough? Did we notice?
According to the Bible, faith and Christianity itself are a matter HEART! In Hebrew – and Jesus, Stephen and Paul were Hebrew, and they thought in Hebrew – the word heart, healing, means something like the center of gravity and the center of the whole person. Believe in the heart – today would we may have said to believe essentially. Just like that Finally, the Catechism of the Catholic Church also speaks when he defines the Christian faith in the words: “By faith man is completely he subordinates his intelligence and will to God. All my own by being manifesting his agreement with God the Revelatory. ”(KKC 143). Faith, then, is the essential attitude of the whole person. This is just this one attitude, which is exactly what the Bible has in mind when he speaks of faith. Everything else, everything less, by faith t’s not. She is a mere opinion. Nothing more… And between faith and opinion is a huge difference! We can best understand this with this example:
• Faith is a matter of inner, the deepest conviction. If someone asks you: “You really believe that this house will be in an hour, will it collapse? ”, and you will answer,“ Yes, I firmly believe in an hour it will fall! ”- then it means that you take what you can and from home, you run away. It goes without saying what else could be done in the house, which is already falling?
• But opinion, this is a superficial, external thing. Our life does not determine opinions. Opinion – that means saying something as follows: “Yes, I think that this house may fall into hours. Same. It is possible. But I believe it won’t happen. ” And that’s why no escape takes place… The problem is that our Christianity is largely based just on the level of opinions. We can see it on such things that concern our lives, so more specifically. For example, such a death: We are, of course, of that opinion and the opinion that after death, of course, there is eternal and beautiful life in Heaven. We’re Christians, aren’t we? Such a belief, however, belongs to Christianity! But – what, in fact, inside, do we believe in the heart? Just look at the people at, for example, Christian funerals! In one of his letters, Paul writes:
13 We would not, brethren, that ye should not know what is done to the dead; lest you grieve like others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, is God he will bring those who have fallen asleep with him through Jesus ”(1 Thess. 4: 13n). And that’s a reason for great joy. But what do you see at funerals? Rejoicing people? Dancing over that again, one of them is already safe, at home? And the joy of being already, will we follow them soon? Fig! You see crying, crying, interpretation of condolences, and the like. Why? Because not an opinion yet is faith. And whatever our opinion, our faith, it is a deep, subconscious belief that governs our lives and ours. The action is about another: here, specifically, about that real-life, we live on earth, and death means losing everything, and therefore to die is indeed a tragedy…

And so you can see “Christians” who are on the one hand opinions that they agree with everything that is written in the Bible and what the Church has announced, hey… but on the other hand live indistinguishable from people who are not believers. They live completely secularly. Why? Because their inner faith believes in something completely different. Exactly what people without Hope believe… And so, instead of living with the living God, whom he truly and deeply trusts instead, they live only with a Christian view instead
of faith and with the thought of God instead of God himself. But that’s terribly little…
